Those are questions that will ultimately be answered following a thorough investigation by the NTSB, not all knowing internet sleuths......
With the DoD involved we may never know exactly what happened.

Holy shit.
Why would a person be filming that at that exact moment?
The H/C pilots were wearing Night Vision Goggles that restrict peripheral vision to about 40 degrees. Normal Vision is about 130 degrees. They never saw it coming...................
Thanks for this. I only saw the first vid that’s all over and the dashcam one.
Sad news that only 28 bodies have been recovered so far.
In my untrained eye, this looks intentional. The only way, again, my opinion, it would not be intentional is if there was a systems malfunction on the Blackhawk.
Next, we will learn the military is hiding the transsexual helicopter pilot’s anti-Trump “manifesto.”
But, wouldn’t there be alarm systems going off on the helicopter? I find it hard to believe that there would no warning signals.
There’s no way that the Blackhawk could not see the Bombadier and its landing lights
It couldn’t be any more obvious
I know nothing about piloting.
But planes always have lights. The FAA kind of insists on it. Three people in the helicopter, which is supposed to operate below 200 feet, they are up at 350 feet, they are heading directly toward a well-lit jetliner — and none of the three people noticed? I’m not sure “Night Vision Goggles” is a good excuse.
The angles are a bit deceptive. I can see how it’s possible. The helo pilots were looking down and to the right at the runway where the other CRJ just took off. The AA plane was approaching fast from the left and above. Because it was turning the lights weren’t super bright.
Especially if the helo pilots were wearing NVG, where field of view is restricted.
It might be possible. But we can’t rule out an intentional collision.
I have wondered if that was a possibility
Still they’d have to ignore their altitude (I don’t have any idea how they monitor instruments with that gear on unless there is a HUD)
(In my untrained eye, this looks intentional.)
It sure as hell does!
Other than the fact that the airliner was moving, seems all to similar to the second plane hitting the World Trade Center,
OMG, if that vid’s legit...
Continuing prayers for the family and friends of the victims...
Lots of people watch airports cams - that’s what I thought it was though it could be some other device
I used to watch planes land on one cam a few years ago
Mostly European planes - a lot of RyanAir
(sigh too much of a hurry)
