OUR COVENANT WITH GOD

Abram accepted the covenant God offered him, "I Am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless. I will confirm my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers." Abram fell face-down, and God said to him, "As for me, this is my covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram: your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations." (Genesis 17:1-5).

Like Abraham, we also have a covenant with God; we are asked by God to "walk before Him" loving one another as He has loved us. When we are in covenant with God, we humbly submit ourselves, innocent from self-centered interest, to obey His commands to love our God with all of our being, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Fulfilling the covenant with God, Abraham received the blessing of familial prosperity. God's desire is to grant prosperity to each of our lives. Are we faithful in our love of God and each other?

Any improvement in the weather?

It’s 40 here...and we have had HIGH WINDS since last evening. Internet has gone a couple times, but mostly flickers that make posting next to impossible.

And, at least in my yard, all the trees are still standing. And it’s raining...I hate this weather in the dead of winter.

We are too warm, HIGH WINDS continue since last evening, my deck is covered in tree trash, my street is a huge puddle, but all the trees are still standing. And the ducks are all surfing upon arrival...funny to watch.

Internet issues all day, BUT, thankfully, so hard outages.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

Howdy, Kathy.

I noticed the wind and rain hadn’t let up when I checked the cam this afternoon. Glad your trees haven’t done anything more than drop some trash on the deck and in the yard.
And no hard ‘net outages.

Poor ducks. They expect to land on the ground for a bite to eat and WHEEEEEE! Surfin’! LOL

It was a warmer today but still on the chilly side due to a stiff breeze. Tomorrow will be about the same, then we get 50s for a few days. They SAY we could be in the low 60s next Saturday.

You’ve been too warm for days. The snow’s almost all gone and I read there are sub-zero temps in store soon. That’s not good!
