President Donald Trump plans to visit North Carolina on Friday, according to N.C. Gov. Josh Stein (D).

Stein announced Trump’s visit during a severe weather briefing Tuesday afternoon.

“We just learned the president is coming to North Carolina,” Stein said. “I think that is very good news for the people of western North Carolina that this issue is front of mind for the administration.”

The visit to the state will likely be Trump’s first trip since taking office for his second term.

Trump will likely tour areas of the North Carolina mountains that were devastated by flooding from Hurricane Helene.

I expect President Trump will take one look around at the devastation in western North Carolina and will start a real, federally-led recovery by bitch-slapping the entire FEMA chain of command responsible for this Biden Administration "non response" debacle.

Hopefully he will fire the entire FEMA leadership team and on the spot and immediately bring in people who can, and will, get things done to get aid our fellow countrymen.

Federal charges related to dereliction of duty and criminal negligence by FEMA leadership would be a good start.

I was thinking that many may be a little older...and maybe a subsidized housing project would help them out. Some locally start at age 55.

I have family in WNC. I also met a man who dedicated half his business to hauling mobile homes to devastated areas of WNC. They go door to door and find out what people need, and they set up mobile homes for the homeless. He said his crew has never run into a FEMA worker, nor have the people they are meeting with.

Where has their governor been? He should have been screaming bloody murder. He ignored these people as much as FEMA

Now that Trump is coming, I see that Governor Stein is jumping into the fray. From what I have read he has done nothing so for and the same for the previous Democrat Governor.

It's a shame that President Trump has to meet with a Dem governor. It should have been a Republican, but the DEI arm of the stupid "R" party wanted a colored guy. Unfortunately the colored guy had a very sick perverted past. That's good for California, but poison for North Carolina.

I would suggest that the president tour the devastated areas without the governor. Stein has done nothing for the victims of this disaster. Let Stein tour on foot. Boobs- boar hog..... you know, the thing.
