‘I refuse to believe this was just a series of unfortunate accidents and incompetence,’ Davis said. ‘It’s just not.’
Federalist CEO Sean Davis dropped some stunning details about the July 13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump’s life in a Friday conversation with Tucker Carlson on “The Tucker Carlson Show.”
The conversation explored how, six months after the shooting, despite a congressional investigation, little is known — or has been released — about the shooter, and the incident quickly fell out of the news cycle.
Davis began the interview by describing three critical things the American people need to know: the shooter’s background and motivations, how government agencies allowed the attempt to take place, and what happened to the people responsible for the security failures.
“I refuse to believe this was just a series of unfortunate accidents and incompetence,” Davis said after outlining a number of explanations for how the attempt took place. “It’s just not.”
Trump was shot in the ear by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who stood on the roof of a building outside the secure area of the Trump campaign rally. Crooks was shot dead by law enforcement with a freakishly high-power weapon, a .300 Win Mag with a Hornady 210 grain hollow-point bullet.
“For people who don’t shoot,” Carlson said, “that’s so much larger than the … round Crooks is shooting.”

Simply too many coincidences.
Crooks was a patsy, just like Oswald. We most likely will never know the truth.
A 300 blackout w/hollowpoint is not that huge a round. I’d expect a sniper to have something similar
What possible reason could there be to keep all that secret?

Heads up
That's what I would use if I positively absolutely wanted someone to NEVER talk again.
I wouldn’t call the LEOs 300 Win Mag with a 210gr. Hornady round HP “freakishly high-power” but certainly with capacity to knock out a human target. I just question using a hollow point. What if a threat is using plates? The point is almost any round to the head is 100% lethal.
(From the article: The FBI has Crooks’ electronics, but, Davis noted, it has never disclosed who Crooks was talking to in person and on the phone and social media chats, what places he visited in the six months leading up to the shooting, what he looked up on Google Maps, or his internet search history.)
Let’s hope the FBI hasn’t destroyed the evidence before Kash Patel takes over.
“Trump was shot in the ear by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks”
So says the FBI/CIA/USSS.
I want proof of life of Max Yearick before I think about agreeing
It was a .300 Win Mag. Considerable difference vs. .300 Blackout.
I fully expect that whatever critical information is necessary for investigative purposes -in any federal agency- will be found to be corrupted or all together destroyed. I would bet the ranch on this. All Biden’s pardons point to a concerted effort to cover all their tracks.
The Secret Service sniper who promptly shot Crooks needs to be interviewed at length by the incoming Administration. Biden’s reaction to the shooting was telling. The first question he asked Trump afterwards was “What made you turn your head?” Sounds like there was a discussion around the demented Biden as to how and why this carefully planned assassination attempt failed. Sadly if there was a plot, not confident that the American public will be told.
Who was in the LV tesla?
They only tell us what they want us to know.

Based on past practices, better than 50/50 chance the critical info will be ‘corrupted’ or ‘lost’. We won’t get far on the pipe bomber or Ray Epps investigations, either.
“Crooks was a patsy, just like Oswald.”
I think there might a small difference, but both are patsies.
I think Oswald was clueless. They just saw the guy and grabbed him up. They saw the opportunity and took it.
I think Crooke was in cahoots with the feds, and the naive doofus was happy to do his assigned job. He assumed they wouldn’t whack him at the end to eliminate lose ends.
His sanitized apartment and things like that are sus.
Still not a round I’d be surprised to know a sniper used.
The first press conference after the assassination attempt was by the FBI and state police. The gist of the press conference was we don’t know anything but don’t blame us. It was all the secret service fault. It is very suspicious that all those cops stood around and did nothing. It wouldn’t be a wild eye conspiracy theory to say they let it happen.
