Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass got into office promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and promising to tackle homelessness and pollution — but she never promised to drain the swamp.
Now she stands accused of adding to it, through “legalized corruption” and a number of eye opening scandals which have come to light after renewed scrutiny in the last two weeks following the revelation Bass and her cronies defunded the Los Angeles Fire Department by $17 million, contributing to them being underprepared to tackle the wildfires currently destroying the city.
These include:
The deputy mayor raided by the FBI over an alleged bomb threat against City Hall. Endorsing a former councilor investigated over hush money payments for congress. Awarding fat cat salaries of $750k to a pal, double the predecessor’s salary. Council members accused of embezzlement, perjury, racketeering, tax evasion and bribes.

“Corruption is ingrained in Los Angeles,” said Jamie Court, president of Consumer Watchdog, a non-profit public interest group.

WUT in the wide wide world of sports!?
In Los Angeles, politicians can request “behested payments” or donations from individuals and companies who have business before the city. “This would be called ‘extortion’ elsewhere,” said Shelley, adding the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles has received some $1.8 million in behested payments from companies such as AT&T and Coca Cola, among others.
Trump’s EPA should be preparing Yuge fines for all of the CO2 that Bass and You-Scum released into da Erf’s atmosphere.
Gee. I liked Bass better when she was praising Fidel Castro and associating with home grown terrorists who bombed the US Capitol in 1983.

True.
Bass-hole and Newscum polluted Los Angeles in 2 days more than all the cars can do in a year.
Geez. With all the people who live in LA, Bass was the best the voters could do?
“...The contest was a virtual dead heat on Election Night. Caruso pulled slightly ahead last Thursday, but since then Bass gained a steady lead...”
Sound familiar...?
Secure your elections, CA.
Guess what? The mob won’t be running fedgov any longer in a few days and corrupt mayors and prosecutors who sold the their loyalty to the Democrats at the price of ignoring their graft are in for some problems.
Fortunately, I live behind the Orange Curtain, but when I was in LA, I overheard two Libtard women “debating” who to vote for. They both agreed Caruso would do a better job running things, particularly the homeless problem, public safety, and municipal operations. You know, things that mayors are supposed to oversee. They finished up by agreeing, though, that he was not sufficiently pro choice, and that issue was of paramount importance, so, Bass !
Secure elections.
Jail the criminals.
Rinse and repeat state by state.
Likely 4-5 Congressional seats for CA will flip to “R” once the elections are secure.
Who wants to bet that today’s news that multiple former fire chiefs and captains say the current fire chief should be terminated for failure to pre-planning failures were organized by Bass and her people?
Wanna bet these accusations can be traced back to Newsom’s office? Mayor meet bus.
Truly despicable.
Bass and Newson treating the devastation as if they had nothing to do with it.
Its just an ordinary “problem” they will use their political “skills” to solve.
Figuring its their ticket to reelection.
Outrageous.
There’s and old saying that I first heard in the 70’s. Attack the right, cover for the left. Nothing has changed. The media in California has been purposefully silent on decades of Democrat corruption in California, except when a Republican screws up, or something is so blatant that they can’t ignore it.
If Gavin Newsom wasn’t such a MethHead he could have jumped all over this on day one and skate through this as a champion.
Maybe the Trump DOJ can get a consent decree to monitor elections in California to take the fraud out of it I has hopefully?
ask hopefully?
