Hi, radu...did you have to be out today? Hope all your ice has melted away and driving is back to normal.
Once I got out of my neighborhood the main roads were dry....NICE for my outings.
To: SkyDancer
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...have fun watching!
To: Kathy in Alaska
Heya, Kathy.
I didn’t go anywhere this afternoon but did go out for a bit this evening. Our roads have been clear of ice since Sunday. We didn’t get much snow to begin with. There are still a few patches in spot where the sun doesn’t shine, like along the back side of the house.
Nice that the main streets up there are in good shape. Getting out of your neighborhood TO those main streets must have been “fun”.

A very pleasant good Friday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Beach for posting this morning's thread.
Yesterday at Chisolm Trail Park:

Nice to see the weather’s been nice for your outings. I hope it stays that way til the the weekend when the North Pole slings its cold air down here. You’ll be holed up for a couple of days or more. I know I’m not steppin’ out the door! LOL
Gizmo seemed to have a great time out there yesterday.

The Victorian version of the water cooler -- Olympia was the first Navy vessel to provide mechanically-
cooled drinking water. Gathering around the Scuttlebutt, you'd get all the ship's news.

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...Gizmo sure had a good time at Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. He found places he liked to roll around in.
Have fun on your adventure today.
To: Kathy in Alaska
kewl...thanx for the history lesson. I only know because that’s what we called it in the Marines.

He sure enjoyed it. When we go out this weekend into next week I will have multiple layers of clothing on so it can still be enjoyable.
Yes, people do exercise in cold weather. It helps keep the blood flowing.🤣

Good morning Allegra ((HUGS))
It's the weirdest thing with the laptop.
The only time it seems to have trouble is in the evening.
Will be doing some research; plus,
an experiment a couple of nights this weekend.
Thanks for the music. Don't remember that one.

Good morning night owl ((HUGS))
It's the weirdest thing with the laptop.
The only time it seems to have trouble is in the evening.
And yup, crunch time.
Probably Murphy's Law.
We're just starting to see grass again in some spots.
Do not want more snow. One and done!
You get a warm up yet?

EEK! You’re going to go out? Don’t stay out too long f the wind’s blowing like it will be here. Giz won’t be dressed in layers like you will and the wind chill will be misery. It’ll be in the single digits here. BRRRRRRRRRR
Have fun and good luck!

Good morning Ma((HUGS))
I really only use the laptop at night when I am scheduled
to post the thread, so it is frustrating.
Going to try a few things to see if I can figure it out. If not, back to Best Buy.
Time for your beddy-by? Sweet dreams.

Good morning Canteen Vamp ((HUGS))
The only time it seems to have trouble is when I try to post the thread,
which is double frustrating.
So, do you have a warm up yet?
Sure wish it would warm up.
I'd like to give the Polar Vortex a piece of my mind. LOL

Well that really stinks. Wonder what the problem is.
It’s not been too bad the past couple of days. Today is supposed to get up close to 60. Tomorrow starts cooling off in the afternoon, then pretty cold Sunday.
Then the Polar Vortex slams in. NOT looking forward to that AT ALL. No one is.
Off to the bat cave. I’m up way past bedtime.
Have a good day and enjoy what little reprieve from the cold you have before Deep Freeze. *HUGZ*

Well, the snow is gone, but it’s very icy.
But the sunrises are gorgeous.

I see we’re in for a warm up but then, another drop into the deep freeze. But after that, it appears the temps will settle into more moderate range. A promise of spring? Fingers crossed.
Sweet dreams.

Fairly nice here this afternoon with sunshine and 58 degrees. Clouds are starting to move in, though, ahead of tonight’s and tomorrow’s rain. The big cool-down starts Sunday.
Heading out to run a few errands while it’s pleasant and dry. Then hunkering down until the temps moderate next Thursday. With luck, they’ll stay decent the rest of the winter for all of us.
