Joe Biden's Statement on California Wildfires Compared to Donald Trump's
Newsweek ^ | Jan. 8, 2025 | Sonam Sheth

The White House put out a statement from Biden on Tuesday evening.

"I am being frequently briefed on the wildfires in west Los Angeles. My team and I are in touch with state and local officials, and I have offered any federal assistance that is needed to help suppress the terrible Pacific Palisades fire," the statement said.

Biden added that the Federal Emergency Management Agency approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant to "support areas that are impacted and help reimburse" California "for the immediate firefighting costs."

"My administration will do everything it can to support the response," he said. "I urge the residents of the Pacific Palisades and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles to stay vigilant and listen to local officials."

Trump went a different route with his statement, blaming the catastrophic fires on California Governor Gavin Newsom, who is one of Trump's sharpest critics.

"Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

This is really rich. Biden, who did absolutely nothing to bring essential assistance to the people of North Carolina who were hit by a devastating hurricane and flood is immediately acting to help the Democrats of California. Trump on the other hand, published an entirely accurate statement showing where the responsibility for this horrible disaster lies: the absolute incompetence of the DeonRat California governing authorities, who did not fill the reservoirs when they needed to be filled.

What is government doing with this air pollution? 😜
So much smoke, they should immediately introduce high pollution regulation!
And what about the CO2 emissions?
Does the fire have CO2 emission permits?

This will cause so many glaciers to melt!

The air pollution particles will block sunlight and cause cooling.

Last they looked, they could not find any smelts in the river.
But they have some in aquarium!

The tragic thing is, it is not that the smelt needs all that water, but, to be put to use, the water needs to be pumped, and the judge decided that maybe some smelt could be sucked into these pumps!

Why in the hell should the taxpayers of other states fund California’s cost of fighting fires?

Trump states the obvious — “”Governor Gavin Newsom refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,”

Biden offers to take more of your money to pay for Newsom’s mistakes and failed idealogy.

He didn't help East Palestine, Ohio or Maui either. In fact, did he ever even mention any of those three disasters directly? If he did, I do not remember it. I bet when it comes to James Woods his words are are not meant for him. For himl he gets no help whatsoever.

The press cannot handle the truth, when it deals with a Democrat.

What they learn is to move out of the areas they’ve made a mess of, and spread their failed ideology to new areas that haven’t been destroyed yet.

You Can’t Make This Up:
<><>LA County Fire Dept Donated Fire fighting Equipment to Ukraine
<><>Biden’s USAID State Dept Funded 16 Ukrainian Fire Departments

The raging fires have already claimed two lives and destroyed 1,000’s of acres and homes, as firefighters face unprecedented challenges, such as water shortages from dry hydrants. Tax paid equipment sent to Ukraine was needed to bolster these firefighting efforts.

Demented Joe Biden’s USAID tax dollars funded 16 Ukrainian Fire Depts
<><>with protective gear, motor pumps,
<><>chainsaws, rescue motor cutters,
<><>rechargeable spotlights, fire extinguishers,
<><>and hydraulic rescue tools.

The lesbian LA fire chief, govt power and water “officials” rake in massive
salaries $700 and 800k per annum, plus perks, and all they can steal.
