This is not quite as it seems. Tata, Infosys and Cognizant are slavers. They exist only to send slaves to the US, so companies here can break laws by hiring slaves from them. They do not hire these people for themselves. They hire them for US companies. These three companies game the lottery sometimes they send in millions of fraudulent applications to game the H1-b lottery. But they must pay off America officials as well because they seem to get huge amounts of applicants that they control. The people they get are always from India or Pakistan. They are not the brightest or most educated either. And they are not often programmers. They often just test. Many work in US labs where they test blood and things like that. My daughter graduated with a chemistry degree, she wanted to work in a lab. But a McDonalds employee makes more.

A) 65,000 + 20,000 = 80,000 NEW visas. Why don’t they just say 80,000 NEW visa. Note these are NEW. Any mention of renewal of existing visa?
B) Satyam was exposed for 5 or 6 people on the same VISA. They all had the same name. Satyam went broke for other reasons. The other consulting firms stayed low for a while. Now How many are back to the old ways?
C) Some H1B work directly for the end client. Many H1B work for consultants or consultants of consultants. For example A Big five accounting firm will contract with a big consulting firm which will then sub-contract several levels deep to other smaller consulting firms. The Big 5 head of the chain then contracts to consult to the Fortune 500.
D) It is not a simiple “How manyl...”. If the Fortune 500 hired all direct they would have a big HR staff. But by consultant chains the HR is dispersed. How do we count the HR and Payroll clerks of the intermediary consulting firms?
E) There are Americans who studied history, math, science, facts. Then there are those whose major was Gender Studies. They are concentrated in the HR departments. Many HR depts are a disaster area. DEI is driving productive companies to seek offshore rather than go thru the HR nightmare agenda.
F) The opposite of DEI is not “favor Americans”. That is just as much DEI as “favor the woke”, The opposite of DEI is “Choose competence, skill, those who don’t come to work hi on weed”.
G) Musk and Trump are like non-Jewish rulers of the Old Testament who prefer competence and that competence was a value on objective truth rather than woke truth.
