President-elect Donald Trump broke his silence by sending a cryptic message to Elon Musk, his biggest ally and tech billionaire on social media after the latter faced the MAGA wrath over his comments on foreign work visas.
Tesla and Space X CEO, Musk has been instrumental in Trump's win for a second term at the White House, an issue that has been brought up by Democrats and critics to criticize his influence in American politics.
Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, both selected to head the ambitious Department of Government Efficiency, faced online backlash from MAGA netizens after they advocated for more H-1B worker visas for skilled foreign-born workers.
However, Trump made a cryptic post on Truth Social at 8:47 a.m. on Friday, appearing to ask Musk about his plans to come to Mar-a-Lago, Trump's estate in Florida.
"Where are you? When are you coming to the “Center of the Universe,” Mar-a-Lago," Trump asked in the post.
He went on to tell Musk that his billionaire rival Bill Gates has requested to drop by for a visit Friday night.
Trump then told Musk that he misses him and his son.
"We miss you and x! New Year’s Eve is going to be AMAZING!!!" he said, before adding his signature initials of "DJT."

“begging”?
First illegal immigration. Let’s not get distracted.
Then Art of the Deal with everything else. Good grief!
This is enemy ploy to strike chaos in MAGA. :(
Well, hopefully we will see Trump place a gag order for Elon and Vivek. They're not going to talk about H1b visas. But they're free to talk about anything else.
Remember, if the Trump administration upholds the campaign promises there is no conflict. The only reason there would be conflict is if the administration did not fulfill the campaign promises.
Musk doesn’t like Gates so it would be hilariously awkward for Bill.

It’s the old...Let’s you and him fight playbook.
We don’t play that any more...
If I was a smart leftist I would go all in on trying to create a schism between MAGA and TechWorld.
We must resist this.
It’s an op.
Our coalition will naturally have differing opinions. Together we beat the Democrats in November.
And now together we will save America.— Charlie Kirk (@charliekirk11) December 28, 2024
So keep out some of the best 500 scientists and engineers in the world?
Anyone who suggests this is a stupid ass, too stupid to know their ass from a hole in the ground, and too stupid to be MAGA
I suspect the H1b thing is a negotiation.
Silicon Valley regards H1b as a major policy point. The tech industry is still mostly anti-Trump, partly on account of that, partly on account of “cultural” issues with their workforce, but that can be suppressed.
Combine this with the parade of these guys, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Gates, and did I see some characters from Google? going to Mar-a-Lago to, I think, make a deal. Something is up.
The Dems wanted everyone to believe Musk was overstaying his welcome at Mar-a-Lago. Trump’s message proves that story was pure nonsense.

The article is a textbook example of the use of “catch” words to report the event in a way that congers up all sorts of negativity in the mind of readers not bright enough to understand the use of what used to be called “yellow journalism” but is now more appropriately called indoctrination journalism.
Ignore the noise. Focus on the real issues.
There has been an ongoing schism between MAGA and tech world. This has been ongoing since the Tea Party days. Remember Brendan Eich?
What I see here is a negotiation to, perhaps, heal the divide. That would be an invaluable benefit to get a heck of a lot of opposition out of the way.

America should always be willing and eager to accept the best and brightest from around the world. THAT kind of diversity is beneficial
There are few things more frustrating than the battle to get a green card for an employee who, went to school here, LOVES it here, and is a better performer than everyone else on your staff… by far. Like a 3X factor. I’ve fought that battle. It’s nuts.
And meanwhile, you see endless streams of talentless masses walking across the Rio Grande and being welcomed.
I mean. How stupid are we?
The MAGA and H1B collision is the proverbial irresistible force meets immovable object.
Elon Musk’s globalist tendencies are driven by his business interests, particularly in China, his advocacy for interconnected technological systems like Starlink, and his integration of global supply chains.
His direct engagement with China - whether through Tesla’s manufacturing in Shanghai or his support for platforms like TikTok - aligns with broader globalist ideals of “promoting international cooperation” (according to his philosophy).
Despite the geopolitical risks, Musk has consistently pursued opportunities that transcend national boundaries, positioning him as one of America’s most globally oriented entrepreneurs.
Emphasis on diverse teams.
Musk has often talked about the value of diversity in the workplace. His companies, including Tesla and SpaceX, employ people from diverse backgrounds, with team members from all over the world.

I was shocked at the power of the enemy to make them do that! Such power! /sarcasm.
