Fetterman calls for Trump hush money pardon in first Truth Social post

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) called for President-elect Trump to be pardoned in his New York hush money case in the senator’s first Truth Social post, which he sent Tuesday.

“The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bulls‑‑‑, and pardons are appropriate,” Fetterman said in his post. “Weaponizing the judiciary for blatant, partisan gain diminishes the collective faith in our institutions and sows further division.” Fetterman said last week that Trump deserves to be pardoned of the hush money case on ABC’s “The View,” following President Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter Biden.

“I think that it’s undeniable that the case against Hunter Biden was really politically motivated, but I also think it’s true that the trial in New York for Trump was political as well, too,” Fetterman said.

Fetterman makes too much sense at times. I hope the rat leadership does not listen

A Senator who doesn’t know the difference between a state and federal case. Moron.

Fetterman certainly has turned the tables from what ‘they’ thought he was going to be and do when he was running for the Senate.

There is a big difference.

Anyone else who committed the crimes Hunter Biden was prosecuted for would have been charged and prosecuted. It took political pressure to get get Hunter treated like the rest of us.

Nobody would have been charged for what Trump was charged for.

Both cases were about victimless non-violent crimes, esp the trump case. Supposedly someone who works for trump made a bookkeeping error re money trump gave his mistress!

There was no crime and even of so the statute of limitations had passed. He doesn’t need a pardon. It will be overturned on appeal.

Wrong.

Supposedly someone who works for trump made a bookkeeping error regarding money Trump gave some porn chick who claims (although she has repeatedly retracted this claim) that he had one sexual encounter with her.

He is only half right. The charges against Hunter Biden are legit and are actually only 1% of the charges he should have faced for money laundering, RICO, corruption, and treason

This is Fetterman (probably directed to do so) poisoning the well by trying to equate the Trump case and Hunter Biden’s case as the same being political and both needing to be pardoned. Hunter was guilty and shouldn’t have been pardoned. Trump’s cases were BS from the start and the cases should have been thrown out.

“The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bulls‑‑‑, and pardons are appropriate,” Fetterman said in his post.

This is incorrect. Hunter Biden actually broke laws. Hunter Biden committed actual felonies.

Trump did nothing wrong, broke no laws, and the case against him is entirely without merit and politically motivated by his enemies.

Fetterman may be a moron for other reasons, but in this case Fetterman didn't mention Biden as the person who should pardon Trump.

Wasn't his "mistress." Both Trump and Stormy Daniels deny they had any sort of relationship at all.

If anything, the payout was to prevent her from blackmailing him during the election by claiming they did have a relationship.

Not to mention Hunter committed LOTS of REAL crimes that were documented.
