Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will reportedly attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.
The Times of Israel reported that a source close to Netanyahu’s office confirmed the trip has been under consideration and that “no final decision has yet been made on the matter.”
“Netanyahu is due to begin giving testimony on Tuesday in his criminal trial, which would need to break to allow for the trip,” noted the outlet.
Netanyahu’s visitation would come at a time when Israel has made considerable gains with its war against Hamas in the Gaza war through its weakening of Hezbollah in Lebanon. As Breitbart News reported this weekend, Netanyahu welcomed the news that dictator Bashar al-Assad had been toppled in Syria while warning against “significant dangers.”

Do other world leaders get invited? I kinda think this party should be only the American family. Foreigners can surely wait to start lobbying the next day. If they come then you gotta entertain then all night etc.
Having Israeli security there means that Trump will speak with a greater margin of safety. I’m not sure how I feel about the current Secret Service. Much will improve after Jan 20th, but, for time being, good to have that extra layer of protection.
Wonder if the middle class lady with the nice lawn will attend...bet not...
At least Trump will have some trusted security from Israel.

There are plenty of hookers in Washington DC.
How does he get from Israel to the US without crossing into one those countries that wants to arrest him. His plane could be forced or shot down.

IIRC, normally the only foreign dignitaries to attend the inauguration are the ambassadors to the US who are resident in Washington. Foreign leaders are usually not invited.
