A police officer was shot and fatally wounded in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park Friday morning around 9:30 a.m.
CBS News identified the officer as 40-year-old Oak Park Police Detective Allan Reddins, and he was declared deceased at 10:10 a.m.
ABC 7 noted that Reddins responded to call about a person with a gun leaving a bank. Shots were fired upon Reddins’ arrival on scene.

yep...got married to a man from texas ...moved to texas almost 15 years ago. she kept the condo and rented it out.
I was the handyman for small stuff. She sold it in 2020.

Oak Park. Left of left s’hole. “Nuclear free” from decades ago. Banned handguns in 70’s until courts overturned the filth years later and preemption was passed.

I believe Oak Park and Morton Grove made the news back in the 1980s when they proudly and loudly BANNED ownership of handguns in their cities.
