Most mortals are defined by one or two signature moments. Good or bad, win or lose, we get our 15 minutes of fame — and then we’re done. Take a bow; exit stage right.
But Donald Trump has lived three or four lifetimes… in just the past decade! No hyperbole: When 2014 began, Trump was filming season seven of “The Apprentice,” ordering around Gilbert Gottfried, Ian Ziering, and one of the Jonas brothers. Now, I don’t want to be dismissive of those (ahem) celebrity superstars (Ziering is the star of the “Sharknado” franchise, for crying out loud), but Trump’s career trajectory has taken him to far loftier heights than reality TV.
It's been one helluva ride.
And for signature moments since 2014, where do you even begin? The list is extraordinary: How about the time he descended the golden escalators of Trump Tower to announce his longshot presidential bid? Or when he crushed the other candidates (and shocked Megyn Kelly) in the GOP debates? Or when he blasted a shellshocked Hillary Clinton? Or shook Kim Jong Un’s hand on the Korean border? Or stared down an assassin’s bullet — unbowed, unbroken, and unrepentant — with his fist raised to the heavens? Or flipping burgers at McDonald’s, or having his mugshot taken, or driving a garbage truck, or debating the withered remains of Joe Biden, or the rally at Madison Square Garden, or his podcast with Joe Rogan, or…
There’s been such a cacophony of content, it’s easy to forget the original signature issue of Donald Trump: Building a wall and making Mexico pay for it.
Immigration. That was Trump’s casus belli. He ran for president to secure our border. That was the #1 item on his to-do list.

The tariffs will cover it !
Hopefully.
A Mexican tax!
It’s only appropriate that the guy in charge to do the dirty work is bat$hit ugly. Don’t pick a fight. Uglies have nothing to lose. Let the pretty boys and girls do the house-slave labor at defense and Justice. Same with Noem.
We give Mexico over $200 million a year in foreign aid.
It is time to zero out that account—for at least a decade.
Experience is the best teacher and America has experienced the bad effects of border insecurity.
The sad and funny thing is Liberals are convinced that when people see that Trump is actually going to do what he says and deports people, they will feel sorry for the deported and turn against Trump.
More sad is many RINOs believe this too and are worried about the optics.
“It’s only appropriate that the guy in charge to do the dirty work is bat$hit ugly.”
He looks a little bit like the guy who played Mike Esentraught on Breaking Bad
Wander around social media. You don’t see a lot of average voters bitching about the illegals. If you were to do a post count of issues mentioned, it always the economy followed by personal security.
Team Trump needs to frame this as both a personal financial and a security issue.
Government at all levels is paying far too much to support illegals which is one of the drivers of inflation. The illegal criminals let in by Biden are running riot and present a clear criminal threat to average citizens
BTTT
Tax all wire transfers of money overseas.
2. “Operation Illegal Alien Gonzalez.
It’s back to your shithole country, with the blessing of Clinton/Reno.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I am getting so sick and tired of writers and you tubers, taking forever to get to the frigging point, esp when an article is posted here, and you have link to it, then wander thru it TO GET TO THE SUBJECT LISTED IN THE HEADLINE.
So, for my friends, here’s the jest of it:
“.....But 2015 was a long time ago. Beliefs change. CBS just conducted a post-2024 Election Day opinion poll, and its findings on immigration are absolutely astounding. There’s been a seismic shift to the right:
Seventy-three percent of Americans — nearly three out of four of us! — now say that deporting illegal immigrants is either a high priority (45%) or a medium priority (28%).
Less than a third say it shouldn’t be prioritized at all.
Furthermore, 57% of Americans would support President-elect Donald Trump creating a nationwide program that finds and deports ALL the immigrants who are illegally in our country!
Which means, today in 2024, the average American is farther to the right on immigration than the average Republican was in 2015!”
The ones I would like to see deported first are those who are whining like a bunch of loser democrats how Americans are the ones who make their freeloading lives hell. Lying biastards. They blame us for “separating” them from their family members. I don’t remember ever seeing that. They are the azhos breaking up their families and then sending a two year old to the border with a little note saying she wants the United States Government to find her family and make them take her in. That kid should have been immediately taken to the Mexican government. She’s their problem. What made the morons at the border think she’s our problem shows just how moronic U.S. Government employees are.
But... but... but... the Dems and their media told us abortion access was the top priority of Americans.
Nobody is taught the ‘Five Ws’ anymore. They’re useful in more than just newspaper lede paragraphs.
First secure the border, since subsequent deportation efforts will be useless if deportees can just recross back into the US when given the opportunity. Then From a public relations standpoint it is important to start deporting illegal immigrant criminals (those involved in any felony) as a start. This will have broad public support and will make anyone obstructing that policy clearly pro-criminal. At the same time target known gang members whether they have a criminal record here or not. Legislate foreign gangs as National Security threats and proceed to rip them out by the roots. This alone will take some time to accomplish but at the same time we could announce that anyone (other than Mexicans or Canadians) who has an active asylum claim must remove them selves to a neighboring friendly country or their asylum claim will be declined. After that it gets more complicated since we are dealing with lots of people who may own property, businesses, obviously valid asylum claims, have a sponsor or have minor citizen children but we can cross that bridge when we get to it. First off though, get rid of those who almost everybody agrees needs to get out tomorrow.
“. What made the morons at the border think she’s our problem shows just how moronic U.S. Government employees are.”
I think the problem is with politicians who dictate that policy not the employees who are forced to implement it.
I watch “Contraband at the Border” a lot. The people at the border don’t have to be forced very hard to let border jumpers in. I still don’t understand why they wade around in the Rio Grande endlessly whining. I think that’s for RAT photo ops and propaganda purposes only. All they have to do is walk up to the border and say they want to come in. JMO
