WRONG!!
the neocons, nato and one world govt folks FORCED This on Russia.
Is putin a good guy? No.
Is UK’s leader a good guy...NO HE’S A LEFTIST MONSTER.
why wasn’t Russia doing a wholesale invasion of Ukraine while Trump was in office??
Because Trump wouldn’t have let NATO offer ukraine, which is about 6 yards from Russia admittance into NATO!!
HOW could putin NOT do anything?!
What did we do during the cuban missile crisis?
And YES, NATO could put missiles right on russia’s doorsteps in Ukraine.
And UKRAINE...such a completely corrupt dem owned machine chruning out 100s of billions!!
Ex polish PM says HAVE of the money went to dems and the comedian.
I am REALLY trying to have patience with the NEOCONS here...and you ARE A NEOCON.
But you guys are making it hard.
RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA AND OMG RUSSIA!!!
They can’t defeat ukraine in years but they’re gonna roll over europe, with NATO as an ally..
I HATE HATE HATE NEOCONS
It’s called “geopolitics”.
"KabulNow is an online newspaper affiliated with the Etilaatroz. Based in the United States, covers South-Central Asia and the Middle East. The paper spent its early years of formation in Kabul, Afghanistan, where it got its name. After the political crisis of 2021 that sent the main chunk of Afghanistan's intellectual community and professional capital to exile, KabulNow found a new base in Silver Spring, Maryland."Interestingly, NameCheap as registrar shows the date as 2020-01-17, a year before that "political crisis" brought about by Idiot-in-Chief Biden, as mentioned above.
WOW - really high boots are needed to get through this muck. Unbelievable! No more drugs, no more ISIS, all is peace and love...trust us!
Smart. Taliban seem to be the only group that can defeat a Russian or USA invasion.
Is this the same Taliban that has banned women from talking to other women?
I’m at a loss here. Putin does not want to conquer the world.
He obviously wants Ukrain though and is recruiting any and every piece of subhuman scum on earth to help him.
Facinated to find out what he is offering.
Anyway, this is not WWIII worthy. Not even close.
Sucks to be Ukraine, but otherwise no threat to anyone else.
If the stinking EU wants to poke the bear, good luck swallowing your teeth and tasing your own blood.
nice
your stock just went up
There is something to be said for continuing to drain Vlad’s assets so that he can’t make mischief elsewhere. The Normandy invasion took 2 and a half years to set up while Germany and Russia carved each other up. How does the Ukraine conflict set up China when it comes to Siberia?
The Taliban got rid of the heroin crop I do believe.
We have more in common with Russia than we do with India. India has issues with Pakistan.
In China WE created a monster.
Works sending troops to Europe. I don’t think Kim Jung Un will be able to keep a lid on it.
And they are never gotten through to. Countless threads that essentially turn into Russia (P) versus Ukraine (Z) with the same talking points stated in various ways, and nobody becomes the wiser or can even acknowledge that some of the things we say are absolutely correct.
I find those charts on military spending offer false comfort. The fact that our MIC is so bloated and corrupt means much of the money is wasted on bureaucratic bloat and fraud coupled with that money goes a lot further in Russia and China means that Russia and China are catching up fast.
Putin ally boasts his troops are ‘meat’ used to grind down Ukraine
A Russian MP has boasted that Moscow used Russian troops with “no social value” to trick Ukraine into sacrificing “young, strong, healthy” soldiers in battle.
Alexander Borodai, an MP with President Putin’s ruling party, said that men fighting for Russia in Ukraine with irregular military units were seen in Moscow as expendable, or “spare” people. He also described them as “meat” to be ground up in combat.
Russia pledges broader Afghanistan ties, says US should help rebuild
Nov 26 (Reuters) - Sergei Shoigu, the secretary of Russia's powerful Security Council, told Afghanistan's Taliban leaders on Monday that Moscow wanted to help achieve a durable peace in the country, Russian news agencies reported.
Shoigu, a former defence minister, also said the U.S. should play a leading role in rebuilding Afghanistan in view of its many years of military involvement in the country.
Taliban leaders asked Shoigu to help them ease the pressure imposed by U.S. sanctions against the Kabul government, according to the Russian news agency reports.
Your argument reflects a highly biased and oversimplified understanding of global geopolitics, riddled with misrepresentations and emotional rhetoric. Let’s address the core points one by one:
“Neocons, NATO, and one world government forced this on Russia.”
This claim ignores decades of Russia’s strategic ambitions and actions independent of Western policies. NATO is a defensive alliance, and its expansion has been driven by the voluntary decisions of sovereign nations seeking protection after witnessing Russia’s aggressive actions (e.g., Georgia 2008, Crimea 2014). The narrative that NATO “forced” Russia’s hand overlooks Russia’s longstanding history of interventionism and imperialist ambitions.
“Why wasn’t Russia invading Ukraine during Trump’s term?”
Russia has been waging hybrid warfare against Ukraine since 2014, annexing Crimea and supporting separatists in the Donbas region under Obama, Trump, and now Biden. The full-scale invasion in 2022 was likely influenced by Russia’s perception of declining Western unity and a calculated risk, not an endorsement of Trump.
“Cuban Missile Crisis analogy.”
This comparison is flawed. The Cuban Missile Crisis involved the placement of nuclear weapons in Cuba, a direct existential threat to the U.S. In contrast, NATO is a collective defense organization with no intent to invade Russia. The mere possibility of Ukraine joining NATO does not equate to a direct attack on Russia but rather reflects Ukraine’s desire for security. Sovereign nations should not be dictated to by larger powers about their alliances.
“Ukraine is corrupt and funneling money to Democrats.”
While Ukraine has faced corruption issues (as many nations have), these accusations are often based on conspiracy theories rather than credible evidence. The overwhelming majority of military and financial aid to Ukraine is accounted for and subject to rigorous oversight by both international institutions and donor nations. The suggestion that aid is siphoned off for political gain lacks substantiation.
“Russia can’t defeat Ukraine in years but will roll over Europe?”
This argument misses the point entirely. Russia’s struggles in Ukraine are due to the combined resistance of Ukraine and significant Western support, highlighting the importance of unity among democratic nations. If unchecked, Russian aggression could set a precedent for further incursions into Europe. Remember, Russia’s invasion is not just about Ukraine but about undermining the post-World War II rules-based international order.
“I hate neocons.”
The use of emotional language such as “hate” detracts from rational discourse. National security and global geopolitics require thoughtful analysis, not personal vendettas against ideological groups. Labeling anyone who supports Ukraine or NATO as a “neocon” oversimplifies complex motivations and dismisses legitimate concerns about authoritarian aggression.
Last thought:
Your rhetoric mirrors Russian propaganda more than it reflects nuanced critique. While healthy skepticism of government policies is valid, defending a regime that undermines international law, sovereignty, and human rights by blaming its victims and their allies is misguided. A world where autocrats are emboldened by appeasement is not one that benefits freedom, democracy, or global stability.
Leave US frog and take rat snake with you.
Sorry, I meant to ping the rat snake.
That's a valid point, that' worth remembering. I usually post those charts in response to the "PUTIN IS HITLER, AND IF WE DON'T STOP HIM NOW HE'LL CONQUER EUROPE!!!" crowd, to show how little Russia is spending. Russia is not the Warsaw Pact or the Soviet Union. They have ramped up military spending a bit since the war started, but in general terms, Russia spends about as much as Britain or France. If somebody ran around screaming "MACRON IS HITLER, AND IF WE DON'T STOP HIM NOW HE'LL CONQUER EUROPE!!!", people would laugh (because it's impossible), and then lock the screamer up in a lunatic asylum. Probably would be a good approach for the "PUTLER!!!" crowd also - laugh, and then call in the guys with the straitjackets...
--- "So you're denying that Shoigu is in Afghanistan meeting with the Taliban?"
Not at all, Cathy. I merely noted the "news" source is hq'd in Maryland.
And...so what?
