I’m almost curious as to what grounds they used...but not curious enough :)

You know what? I’ve changed my mind about the smaller things being of no consequence since we won the sweep.

EVERY crime and insane reversal or acquital of leftists needs to be pursued.

Or nothing will change.

But first, how about all of our senators showing up in DC to stop Schumer!!

If we can’t even do that, what the heck?!?

And smollet is a piece of gaybage...er, garbage.

As much as I dislike Smollett, I agree with this decision. Double jeopardy is unconstitutional.

Double jeopardy? Like Ofc Chavin being piled upon with charges for the SAME ‘CRIME?’

That’s what they just said on the radio.

I think they said he forfeits $10,000 bond. That should be enough to stop others from trying this.

I loved that routine by Dave! His story absolutely made NO sense and Dave highlighted that!

I’m relieved.... for a minute, I thought there were two or more sets of laws. What a relief!

“I’ve changed my mind about the smaller things being of no consequence...”

You must have forgotten that Rudy cleaned up NYC by going after the small things.

“Double jeopardy is unconstitutional.”

What “double jeopardy”? He only got tried once AFTER the DA dismissed the charges, as I recall.

And I agree with you. Evidently there was a solid plea agreement in place, with all conditions fulfilled. Then the prosecution decided to go to trial anyway.

So the fault is not with this decision. It’s with whoever negotiated that original plea agreement with Smollett’s lawyers. It was too lenient.

I have no doubt he’ll be able and allowed to exact retribution on justice. It’s a forte of Democrats.

I don't believe that defense for one second. These are seasoned prosecutors who know the ins and outs of everything they do, and the risks involved in going against the rules. They would not have deliberately sabotaged their case, unless they were paid to do this (which isn't beyond the pale - this IS Cshitcago.)

I'll bet Smollett did NOT meet the terms of the plea deal. Otherwise, why would it have gone to trial?

This is just a corrupt court.
