Sephora is in damage control mode after social media rumors that it supported President-elect Donald J. Trump’s campaign sparked calls to boycott the beauty products retailer.
Leftists are reacting in the only way they know how to after Trump’s clubbing of Kamala Harris, by lashing out and threatening to punish any who may have assisted with his victory, including Sephora which strongly denied that it had made “big big big donations” to his campaign.
Some TikTok users called for the company to be put on the naughty list for the holiday shopping season for the alleged donations, including one video that said, “I hope we all understand the assignment for this Christmas season,” said @karessmarie4.
The Trump rumors also cross-pollinated to other social media platforms, spreading like wildfire.
“I love Sephora and I spend thousands of dollars there, but after seeing they donated to Trump and they’re a company who provide services and products for women, it’s a smack in the face, I guess it’s time to go elsewhere, not for nothing we need to switch over to Ulta,” one person wrote, according to the Daily Mail.
“Sephora, get ready to have the worst Christmas,” an X user said. “We are on every online site to let people know especially women that you Donated a tremendous amount of money to Trump.”
“Can’t wait till you see your earnings on January 1st. Have the next few months you deserve, boycott Sephora!,” the user threatened.
Sephora which is owned by the French multinational company LVMH denied that it had anything to do with Trump’s historic win.
“It has come to our attention that there is incorrect information circulating on social media regarding company donations,” the company said in a statement. “Sephora does not make corporate donations to political candidates. Sephora’s mission is to create a welcoming beauty shopping experience for all.”
The Federal Election Campaign strictly prohibits corporations from making direct donations to federal political candidates, according to the Federal Elections Commission.
But Sephora’s denial didn’t impress @karessmarie4 whose viral video helped spark the boycott.
“Number one, I looked at the retail PACs and I looked at who they donated to. Number two, I looked at what companies were in these retail PACs—who was members of these retail PACs. I looked at what federations they were involved in, and that’s how I came up with the assumption that Sephora was donating lots and lots of money via all these PACs and these federations. They’re all connected,” she said, according to Newsweek, apparently referring to the National Retail Federation and its RetailPAC political action committee.
“Even if I did make a mistake in connecting the dots to Sephora through the federations that I thought they were involved with, that I saw they were involved with, all f****** well. They’re still not a company you should be spending your money with. They’re expensive as f***. And they’re making record-breaking profits while paying American citizens s***** a** wages,” she said.
Leftists buy make-up? Who knew.
Witch burners invariably immolate a few random innocent victims—they just can’t help themselves.
The trannies have to buy it by the barrel...
Yaa the trannies have to trowel stuff on.
Even if there is some ‘boycott’, it won’t last.
American women, especially the single ones, are far too vain to keep it up. Like virtually all of their ‘sacrifices’, its for show & immediate virtue points but will inevitably but very, very quietly be abandoned.
“Leftists buy make-up? Who knew.”
The fags that dress up like women do.
O.K. they can stand to lose .001% of their revenue. Just because the media makes it seem like trans are a big demo, they are not. Which is why there should be no policy changes to accommodate such a small number of mentally ill people.
Sephora has been a woke nightmare for some time haven’t they? These socialists are just flailing wildly in their post election mental breakdown now. This is good collateral damage.
The last time I "cross pollinated", I got busted for Lewd & Lascivious.
Their sales of blue hair dye must be plummeting.
The guys do..
To attempt to look like gals.
Most of the makeup companies support transgender over everything else.
No amount of makeup whatsoever will ever hide how ugly lefties are on the inside and outside!
Oddly, they make up a fair percentage of Sephora employees.
They need more makeup than actual girls, and girls are far more likely to be unbothered by it/are cowered from opposing it/support it.
Under that rubric it is a justifiable business decision despite that sales to trannies is probly a tiny % of revenue.
Sephora ought to have their lawyers collecting ALL the socmedia messages so they know who to sue for serious damages.
The New York Times secretly supported Trump! Ditto the Wash Post and LA Times for no endorsement of K. CNN secretly supported Trump too! Comcast secretly supported Trump! Disney secretly supported Trump! One can think of a whole bunch of secretly supporting Trump companies. Let the fun and frivolity begin!
Will that really work? I am not sure a bunch of posts on social media could actually lead to a verdict, but even if it did, do these yahoos have any money?
