Within the first few sentences, this finance lady says something to the effect that the DNC worked out some sort of “deal” to bypass the individual contribution limits for a candidate and one person could give over 900k to the campaign.
And zero follow-up. It’s so normal anymore.
Very interesting interview. I suspect moderate Dems like her will become even more scarce rather than returning to the mainsteam of D politics.

Agree, major infighting in the Dem Party and I suspect the evil extreme leftists will win out and double down on their extremism.

There should be contribution limits per cycle. No more of giving to the campaign, and then turning around and giving unlimited amounts to a PAC.
I always thought that every candidate that gets on a ballot should be given free airtime for commercials/messages. Get all of this money out of the system and you will see a lot of “retirements” within a short time.
Or at least, limit the max contribution to each PAC. It’s the Hollywood folks giving tens of millions (and the respective GOP donors) that get everything screwed up.
Hopefully the pending demise of CATV channels will dilute the marketplace somewhat.

However she could be 'priming the ground' so that the Dem. party and supporters recognizes clearly the DNC and it's leadership and path has to change direction with Shapiro himself encouraging her to do this circuit - softening the ground for 2029 race..... of which it really is no secret Shapiro and Newsome will both be running. That's why they both let Harris fall flat on her face.
What she speaks is what the DEM. supporters need to hear in order to draw them back to the 'new' plantation so to speak.
What is Kamalala up to these days? Having the teleprompter guy writing her a resume’. I read where Californians are already looking at her to take Greasy Gruesome Newsom’s job as the governor.
I never forgot hearing that "leak" yet in hind sight would account for all the infighting between all of their camps and it's leaders....and Harris's utter poor performance. They knew she wasn't capable.

If it was up to me, no one should be able to contribute money to anyone except the politicians that directly represent them.
At least Trump is trying to bring in outsiders, maybe he can make a dent with that approach. Time will tell.
