The last thing we need heading up the DOJ is another highly-credentialed lawyer like Merrick Garland.
Matt Gaetz is the perfect pick to reform the DOJ - watch and learn.
Bubba did 139 recess appointments. Obama did 32. Reagan did about 180. Making recess appointments is available for a reason.
It is almost surreal... It has been a wild roller coaster ride and I’m afraid it’s not over yet...
When the Bee trying to be sarcastic actually fits reality better than any other source out there we have entered all new territory. :)
Robert Kennedy actually had a lot of relevant experience. He worked at the Justice Dept. as a lawyer in the criminal division, and the espied division, he got valuable experience investigating and prosecuting communists as a top assistant counsel to Senator Joseph McCarthy. He worked on the Hoover Commission. He was a chief counsel for the Senate majority.
He later worked for the Adlai Stevenson campaign, but he didn't care for him, and voted for Eisenhower. He spent two years as the Chief Counsel of the Senate Rackets Committee.
That is the plan, and I got my fingers crossed you are right. But never underestimate these criminals and what they are capable of. They already tried to kill Trump twice and they are not going to stop trying.
He’s gotten smarter his time around.
Are either Alex Jones or Steve Bannon attorneys?
To reform the DOJ, Republicans need a smart and relentless hard worker, not a social media influencer without relevant experience.
I have been listening to negative nellies and pearl clutchers around here for months.
They told me President Trump could never win the swing states and never win the election.
Then they told me the Republicans could never win the U.S. Senate.
Then they told me the Republicans could never win the House.
They were wrong.
Every time.
It is time for Freepers to get used to winning.
Bannon is not. Not sure about Jones.
Agreed.
May you live in interesting times.
Well, here we are.
Agreed! I was going to post a vanity to all the doomers here after the election but all my fellow freepers who had FAITH did a much better job! Screw all the negative Nellie’s. I think the entire paradigm has shifted, massively, and probably won’t be appreciated for the triumph it was for at least 20 years.
When you think of all the forces arrayed against President Trump over all these years it is incredible what he has done so far.
All those who doubted him up to now should take a moment and bow their heads in shame.
Then they should vow not to make the same mistake again.
We only won one out of those three. We got Trump, but the House and Senate ARE NOT loyal to the people or Trump so we did not win a thing there. The criminal organization just swapped name tags. Still the same organization.
This is just beginning. We haven’t won until Trump survives his four year term and is actually able to turn the tide while he is there.
Trump winning the election did not miraculously stop the global machine.
You’re just wrong - this isn’t about trial experience - it’s about being a fighter, not a sell-out.
But we do need a fighter - which clearly Gaetz isn't - he already resigned from Congress, over two months before Trump is in office, and a month an a half before Congress changes. So, if there is a vote that is important, the Republicans have one less vote because Matty wimped out. Is that what he wanted?
We need a fighter, IN REAL LIFE, not a social media snowflake, who lies down with his belly exposed when Democrats are there.
This is pointless - have a nice day
DO IT!!!!!
The question asked was what % are confirmed. If someone is held, they are not confirmed.
It says 95-99% who do not withdraw are confirmed. You’re certainly at liberty to look up the total number of nominees who do not withdraw over the 200ish years in question and determine if the % who are confirmed differs from 95-99%.
ChatGPT can do that faster than me. Maybe you are faster still.
There was no such question asked. You volunteered the information.
