🚨#BREAKING: FEMA has confirmed there are over 1,500 families who are still living in motels after being left homeless by Helene in #WNC.
According FEMA, only “142 have qualified” for a manufactured home.
Of those 142, just 1 delivery has been confirmed as of today.
FEMA is as useless as tits on a Tom cat.
Hey DOGE, here’s one to go after.
GMTA
Tell me this isn’t a government operation?
Not sure what GMTA means.
Red counties.
Grab my
nevermind
Dismantle FEMA
Create 10 or 12 “regional response groups” among neighboring states, where they can share emergency resources.
Let the states and governors lead this.
If during a crisis, they want specific resources from Fed.gov, they can ask, but there will be no overriding Federal agency in charge.
Great minds think alike.
Let the states and governors lead this.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Commercial_Code
The Code, as the product of private organizations, is not itself the law, but only a recommendation of the laws that should be adopted in the states. Once enacted by a state, the UCC is codified into the state’s code of statutes. A state may adopt the UCC verbatim as written by ALI and NCCUSL, or a state may adopt the UCC with specific changes. Unless such changes are minor, they can seriously obstruct the Code’s express objective of promoting uniformity of law among the various states. Thus, persons doing business in various states must check local laws.
All the other stuff is a result of 'government do something' by people that are weak and hateful.
Say no to big government.
Yes, but if that one trailer has an EV charger attached, then the democRATS can celebrate their “good works.”
ho
lee
crud!!!!!!!
Are all the FEMA trailers being used by illegal aliens?
Is this the same government that has hooked up zero rural homes to high-speed internet? The same one that has built a grand total of 7 EV charging stations? Looks like there will be lots for Musk/Ramaswamy to look at.
Hmmm...
1500 homeless and in need of help...
Only 145 are determined to be qualified...
So what is the DEI-determined makeup of the 9.7% of the homeless families that are qualified?
What is the DEI-determined makeup of the remaining unqualified homeless families?
With a few million more dollars they could have had one government built EV charging station ready for an EV truck to deliver the trailer.
Tore down the old, damaged house but built a bigger, better one.

Hurricane Katrina hit the Mississippi Coast on August 29, 2005. I was finally delivered a FEMA trailer on November 12. There were families camping on the slab where their homes once stood for months into 2006. It seems nothing has changed.
My heart goes out to those folks.
