President-elect Donald Trump told The Post Wednesday that he and President Biden “both really enjoyed seeing each other” when they sat down for a historic post-election get-together in the Oval Office.
“You know, it’s been a long, it’s been a long slog,” the 78-year-old said during a phone interview as he left Washington. “It’s been a lot of work on both sides and he did a very good job with respect to campaigning and everything else. We really had a really good meeting.”
The last two presidents of the United States discussed the transition of power on Jan. 20, with Trump telling Biden in front of the world’s press that it would be “as smooth as can be” following the Republican’s attempt to contest the results four years ago that culminated in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
“It’s going very smoothly,” Trump told The Post of the process of picking officials for his second term, added that the Republican transition team and the Biden White House enjoy a “very, very good relationship.”

“Why did you attempt to have me shot in the head Joe?”
That’s what I would have said.

I like nice Trump. It was a time to be nice Trump.
Time for smartass Trump will come soon enough. I’ll like that too.

Sounds like Joe is very very happy..The simple things now make him happy, ice cream, flavored yogurt, napping on the beach.

Donald Trump is a helluva lot more magnanimous than I would be.
But he’s smart to do that, to further drive a wedge between the Democrats.

You mean Joe was happy to meet Hitler?I suspect he likes Hitler better than Pelosi and Kamala. That's saying something about Pelosi and Kamala.

“Why did you attempt to have me shot in the head Joe?” That’s what I would have said. It's like two Mafioso bosses, the first has the second at a disadvantage and is trying to kill him, so the second asks the first, "Joey, why are you tryin' to kill me?". The first says, "Hey, it's nothin' personal, Don, you understand. It's just business."
Trump understands business.
Fortunately, Joey TenPercent missed.

Trump is the adult in the room who doesn’t hold grudges. Unless you do then he doesn’t mess around. It’s up to you. He forgives but doesn’t forget. Ask Pompeo and Nikki. They blew it big time.
