The subheadline read, "Democrats’ coverup of the president’s decline hurt their claim of being the party of truth." "The credibility problems that Ms. Harris’ repeated defense of Mr. Biden’s sharpness illustrated were part of the reason Democrats met defeat," the board wrote.

Peanut had a lot more to do with why they lost than Bidon’s decline.

What about the Compost’s role in the coverup?
To: WeaslesRippedMyFlesh
Certainly, the Media had no idea at all about his mental state.

The media pretended Biden was functional, when every one could see he was not. We still don’t know who really is our President, but it isn’t Biden.

But the Washington Post and other media entities themselves were also part of that cover up.

Did the WaPo mention the 25th Amendment? Or questioning why the democrats are keeping a vegetable as Commander in Chief?

Nope. The Media is supposed to be the watchdog. They failed to do their job.

“Credibility problem” as in outright liar. Almost as much of one as Timmy Walz.

If only we had a national system of companies investigating current events and delivering their results in printed format to people... some type of news papers, which could have investigated Biden's cognitive decline? Would they have lost their credibility if they proactively hid the decline which they saw daily?

The blame game will go on. Tactically, every choice they made was poor.
Even the correct choices (Getting Biden out of the race) they did in the worst possible way.
It is nice to see the Dems fractured on the national stage for once.

Ya think?
Do Wash Post realize they lost even more credibility than they’d already lost over the same thing.
