Georgia GOP Leaders Are Outraged After Dem-Led Counties Abruptly Extend Ballot Drop-Off Deadline (Dems cheating again)
The Federalist ^ | November 3, 2024 | Brianna Lyman

Four Democrat-led counties in Georgia extended the in-person drop-off hours for absentee ballots this weekend. But some local Republican leaders expressed frustration with the abrupt change, telling The Federalist they were never directly informed about the last-minute changes and as a result these drop-off locations were unsupervised by GOP observers for hours.

Fulton County announced Friday that “four election offices around Fulton County will be opened throughout the weekend to accommodate voters seeking to hand-return their absentee ballots.” Fulton County Republican Party Chairwoman Stephanie Endres told The Federalist the guidance came from Fulton County Director of Registration and Elections Nadine Williams. ...

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said in a post on X that state law permits election officials to “receive absentee ballots in person at [government] facilities if the county chooses.”

But in a subsequent X post, Raffensperger said he was “concerned” that there were issues in Fulton County allowing monitors to observe the process, and RNC Chairman Michael Whatley complained of poll watchers being denied access to these ballot drop-off locations.

Endres told The Federalist that she was not directly notified in advance about the extension, inhibiting her ability to adequately staff the four locations with observers to oversee the process.

“People are slowly getting to these places and trying to see if they can get access,” Endres told The Federalist. “While I was in court Friday for a case against the county, Fulton County apparently put notice on their website about these extended hours. We didn’t get direct notice; you had to be on the website and just see it yourself — otherwise you just didn’t know. So we weren’t able to adequately staff these sites because we were kept in the dark.”

The same happened in three other counties. Pub chairman Michael Whatley said on X “Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties decided at the last minute to accept ballots over the weekend — which disregards the law ... They have also failed to let our poll observers in to watch the process. The Secretary of State has issued guidance to allow Republican poll watchers in but local officials REFUSE.”
“Our election integrity operation has filed a lawsuit,” Whatley said.

Fine.

Their results are automatically disqualified from the final tallies.

Somebody comes in and drops off 5000 of them. In the back door. Or they were already there. You don’t see a problem? Because you’re not looking.

Laws and deadlines mean something. And if only SOME people know about it, there is an inequity and a whole lot of room for cheating.

One of my favorite books is “fahrenheit 451”. Pretty shocking to have a fire department that burns books, pretty sure that ballots boxes where included at some point, but were edited out as being to radical....

We can bet that this was done intentionally to slip in a bunch of fake ballots that came the moment they opened the doors. Before word got out about what they were doing. Probably thousands of fake ballots are now being counted. Events like this are probably why the democrats are suddenly more confident they can steal the election. They already got away with their biggest operations.

hand-return their absentee ballots Stop and think about that. They can’t do in-person voting even if early (with ID)? But they can manage to hand-return their ballots.

What would happen if the law abiding state who conduct mostly orderly and fair elections were to refuse to seat and recognize the Electors and Electoral Votes of these rogue and unlawful states? Does anyone think the citizens of these rogue states that are disenfranchised might do something?

Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona; all refused a seat at the table until they get control of their houses.

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Only reason to do that is to cheat. Period.

Would like more information. As far as I know, these are inside the Polling Sites and I doubt if there is no one there. I’ll take a wait and see until I get a better picture.

“Somebody comes in and drops off 5000 of them.”

I think they would have done that regardless of office hours. In fact I think they would have avoided dropping them off during office hours and done it at 2AM or something like that.

Mail-in ballots have names, addresses and barcodes on them, and they are scanned into the system when received. They have to match what was mailed out after the voter applied for the mail-in ballot (which requires a written application and photo ID).

Based on the polls, I think Trump will win Georgia by more than 100,000 so I don’t think that the fraud will make a difference.

Outrage is almost as effective as a strongly worded letter.

People like to substitute both for effective action.

The notice was only posted on the website. How is Joe Q Public supposed to know? He’s not. This is only meant for certain individuals to stuff the ballot box without any observers.

If Raffensperger hadn’t been so lax about cheating 4 years ago, this likely wouldn’t be happening. Consequences happen when you allow cheating, just because you don’t like the victim candidate.
