Americans are being left outraged as Covid era mask rules appear to be creeping back into daily life.
This week a hospital system in Monterey, California, which treats nearly 400,000 patients a year, reinstated its face mask mandate for visitors and patients.
Meanwhile several counties in the Bay Area have also brought back mask rules in healthcare facilities ahead of flu season.

Trust me, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with health and safety and EVERYTHING to do with control and compliance conditioning.
IIRC—_THE DUMBEST ONES WERE THE ONES DRIVING ALONE IN A CAR WITH A MASK ON.
Is Monterey still part of America, or did they join Cuba?
These masks don’t prevent thd person to person transmission of upper respiratory viruses.
Masks are also fomites.
I can’t tell how how many healthcare workers I have watched over the years violating their own health system’s infection control protocols with regard to masks.
And some of those employees were senior staff.
Could this really be about TB...?
I’ll never wear a mask again. They can put me in jail or fire me, but that day has passed...
Here in liberal NYC, I see ads on the subway that will show a group of about a dozen people, and two or three of them are wearing masks.
It’s all about normalizing germaphobia, and the whole work from home, shop from home, socialize from home, “contactless” lifestyle.
Much easier to control a society of socially retarded Zoom/face time obsessed couch potatoes staring at a screen all day.
Prior to COVID, you didn’t see a million Amazon trucks everywhere. And nobody had fast food delivered to their home.
It’s bad enough eating at Taco Bell or McDonald’s in person. Imagine how trashy you have to be to want to get that crap delivered to your home ice cold, and at nearly twice the price that it was before the great Biden economic boom!..... or as Rachel Maddow calls it, the Biden/Harris “rip roaring economy”.
Masks don’t work against the flu either.
I am wondering the same thing.
Hat tip to the young lady.

I’m with you. What that meant for me was not asking for medical treatment for about 3 years. I am insulin dependent diabetic with many of the attendant risks of that disease (like kidney failure, heart disease, poor blood circulation, etc.). Actually, I think I was healthier staying away. The downside, of course, was watching Medicare and supplemental insurance premiums still going up each year and getting absolutely no benefit from the thousands I spent. Great for the insurance wogs and Obamacare. I didn’t cost them a dime. Even so, they’ll have to admit me while unconscious to force a mask on me. They will also need to discharge me as soon as I wake up or risk hospital staff getting a mask enema.
I have said that from day one of the original China virus mandates. (ie, masks, jabs, distancing, isolation) They’ve now lost control and attempting to recapture it right before an election.
I could understand the mask policy for MDAnderson in certain areas. That said, yesterday I had and MRI at the MDAnderson mother ship. They did the pulseox, took it off my finger. Told me to take off my mask and redid the pulseox. It is not the first time I have been told to take off my mask so they could redo a test and give me some stupid excuse.
Seriously people?
My wife was a diabetic. They claimed she got COVID three times she went to the hospital. Amazing, since she lived alone with Me and her handicapped sister.
The only one who left the house was me and I never got it. Her sister never got it, but somehow she got it every time she checked into a hospital.
