It was cooked well-done. LOL
Pretty much only the ignorant don’t know that negro is the Spanish word for black but there are a lot of ignoramuses in the world. :-)

Yesterday at Comanche Lake:

How's everyone doing this morning?
I’ve been watching Joe Rogan and Trump and that’s all that’s kept me up this late. I’m almost at the end now and will get the cat stuff dealt with and conk out.
No setting the alarm. Won’t need to. I’ll wake up earlier than the normal time but will have a good night’s sleep. Getting up a little early works out well because I need to mow along the driveway. The poo stink has been so bad all week, I haven’t been able to do it. But the guy across the road was turning the field this morning and now the stink is gone.
Rain doesn’t stop people around here from getting out to vote. Never has. If it does rain next Thursday, it’ll be warm so it’s no big deal. They’ll be as happy to get rain as I’ll be and will probably dance through it on the way from their cars to the building. LOL
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I see Gizmo was a candidate for a bath in the lake again yesterday. LOL
Greetings & Salutations, Liberty...thanks for the music. ((HUGS))
You’re welcome, Kathy! (((hugs))) Thank YOU for all you do...for us and for our troops!
I figured this was the last weekend before the holiday, but I might have enough tunes that I’ll have some left over for next weekend, too. LOL!
Oh, rats! I forgot about that podcast with Joe Rogan. Guess I’ll watch it tomorrow. I’ve watched live trials all day. Two guilty verdicts. YEAH!!
Thank goodness that stench is gone and you can actually breathe fresh air...well, fresher anyhow. Reckon this will be the last time you have to mow?
If you’re gone before I get back from watching a show....nighty-night. See ya mañana!
Good evening, jocon307...thanks for the tune. ((HUGS)) RIP, Phil Lesh.
The Duke of Earl has always been a fun song. d:o)
We had a partial power outage yesterday. A couple of the circuits went out including the one where my wi-fi was plugged in. I wasn't sure if it was one my end or the city but it only lasted 17 minutes and the power came back on afterwards.
In any event we will have ribs for supper today and plan to do Comanche Lake later today.
BTW long time so see. Where have you been? 😃
It was a very good interview. It was late when I spotted it posted here at FR and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to listen to all of it tonight but it was good enough to keep me awake. Now I hope I can stay awake long enough to get the cat stuff dealt with. LOL
Yeah, the air doesn’t stink but it’s still not fresh. Still smoky.
I only need to mow along the driveway at this point. Charlie didn’t whack it down all that short when he got it with the tractor and big mower a while back so it’s pretty long and shaggy. I whacked the grass short when I mowed the yards and it’s still short. Might need to mow it all again after the rain next week since it’ll be warm.
Outta here now. Enjoy your show. Catch ya tomorrow.
Better keep him away from his favorite smelly spots this winter so you don’t have rough rides home. LOL Too cold to bathe him in the lake.
Sounds like a weird power outage you had but the good thing is it didn’t last long. Must have been something on their end.
I’ve been getting up early all week to work at the Republican women’s tent set up outside where early voting has been going on. I’d turned off the computer before you showed up, and that’s why we missed each other. Next week will be a repeat.
The wind’s dropped out of my sails and I’m heading out now. You and Gizmo have a great time at the lake later today.
I just located it and started watching. Seeing Rogan trying to focus Donald Trump on any one subject for any length of time is funny to watch. His mind just moves so fast.
See ya. Enjoy the day and weekend off!
Great tunes, stylin9a...and thanks for the story. ((HUGS))
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...lots of water adventures for Gizmo, and a couple good places to roll around in. A good day for him at Comanche Lake.
You boys enjoy your Saturday adventures.
That looks delicious!
Thanks Kathy. Glad you enjoyed it. Some liken his voice to being annoited and blessed. Another great talent we got to enjoy for what seems like a short time. RIP Sir Charles.
Man, iv been playing this song most days and still never ever tire of it. I was driving my son to an after school event a few weeks back and he asked me “Dad, why does he scream RAAAA like that?” So I explained to him that this man is singing with all his heart and he’s so sad because he just loved his mum so much and when she sadly died it broke his heart. So his scream is just the sad emotion he’s feeling, just escaping his soul. My son (who’s 5) didn’t reply he just listened and at the end of the song he told me from the back of the car that “it makes his eyes wet”
Man oh man that boy of mine had a full on tear ready to drop and I couldn’t be happier. It’s now our song we listen to while driving and he still just listens. RIP Charles and I can’t thank you enough.
Hard to imagine the power, emotion and feeling coming out of that soft spoken man.
Bet you didn’t watch the whole thing last night, as late as you found it. LOL That’s alright. It’s still there to finish watching today. It really was fun.
