Mother Nature is being a meanie, teasing y’all like that. Y’all are long overdue a break from heat.

From what they’re saying here, we’re going to have a turnaround after the 1st. Start getting a little more rain and will be - and stay - cooler. I hope it doesn’t get TOO cool but I sure hope for that rain!

I do intend to thoroughly enjoy sleeping in tomorrow. I don’t handle getting up early very well, especially so many days in a row. LOL To make matters worse, too many mornings, I woke up at least an hour before the alarm went off. Ugh!

Yes, I don’t go back to work at the tent until Monday and I’m looking VERY forward to sleeping in the next two days. LOL It’s been a lot of fun but ‘vampires’ aren’t cut out for waking up in the morning. :-)

Generally speaking, all Salsa bands have brass. The idea that Salsa has a lot of brass, is rhythmic and has touches of Progressive Jazz and Rock and Roll is the reason I like it so well.

It always amazes me how quickly y’all go from loooooong days to short ones.

One of the Lake Hood chatters who lives in Anchorage mentioned rain and snow in the next couple of days. There’s a large system to the west of you but I don’t know how fast it’s moving.
Might want to head out to vote tomorrow before it gets there.

The name of that last tune, just so that you know, is, “The Black Man/Negro Is Cooking!” That is why it cooks so well. ;-) ( The word, “negro,” does not have the negative connotations in Spanish as it does in American English because Hispanics realize that the Spanish word, “negro” means, “black.” ) ;-)

I’ll crash and burn early tonight because this morning was one of those EARLY days. I’m bushed.
Only 4 early days next week because early voting ends Thursday.

Yes, it’s for a good cause and it really is fun. That’s why I don’t mind doing it.

I started out with the Halloween thread, but changed my mind at the last minute. I’ll post it next Friday.

I absolutely love the little ghosty who’s been around for years, but always brings a smile.
