Hate that we haven't had rain for a while.

I hear ya on pretty warm for October. It is here too. As of now, they’re saying it’ll be around 81 degrees on Halloween and that’s usually when we get our first hard freeze.
This year has just been nuts. Sounds like you’re in the same boat we are - - bone dry. Fire bans are finally being issued but fires have been breaking out all across the SE for a while. The air is full of smoke.

It was pretty windy here today.

Another week of no rain. And another warm week ahead.
I saw the Red Flag alert for most of the northeast and mid-Atlantic states.
