Former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove said Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom” that the battle for control of the Senate was a series of nightmares for the Democrats.
Rove said, “First of all, he’s already had a nightmare or two because West Virginia, there was no way they could hold it once Joe Manchin announced his retirement. I can’t even tell you the name of the Democratic candidate, he’s a mayor of a town in the western panhandle and he’s going to lose by 30 points. Then they had another nightmare, Schumer had another nightmare. In Montana, Tim Sheehy has pulled into a pretty significant lead ahead of Jon Tester. Jon Tester, who said, I’m a different kind of Democrat when he got elected 12 years ago, but he hasn’t been able to show he’s a different kind of Democrat for the last four.”
He continued, “And then now we’ve got the Great Lakes states, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania, all of which are now toss-up races. Two of them are, excuse me, one of them is an open seat, Michigan, and three of them are against incumbents. But the longtime incumbents, at least two of them are now running television ads saying they’re with Donald Trump on important issues, which says something about how they’re nervous about the underlying firmament in their states.”

Here in Ohio Brown runs some ads about Trump signing a bill Brown sponsored about stopping fentanyl smuggling. But the huge bulk of Brown’s ads revolve around abortion and Moreno being anti abortion.
The lust suburban women have for abortion is something I’ll never quite understand.
As much as I hope that is true, karl can wander away.
Meanwhile the Democrats are telling themselves that Rick Scott in Florida is in play, if Rick Scott were to lose, it would be a nightmare night for the Republicans, which I think is not going to happen.
The Democrats are now running the same commercials they ran when Scott was Governor and when he was elected to the Senate, same accusations that didn’t work then and won’t work now.
If they can’t cheat enough to keep the presidency they’ll certainly try to hang on for dear life to the two houses…
How people can rationalize the killing of a baby as anything other than the killing of a baby defies reason and logic. Monsters. Blood drenched monsters.
I could live the rest of my life and not hear the name Rove
again, and I wouldn’t miss it at all.
If Scott loses, chances are it’s going to be a very bad night.
I remember when MANY people around here would refer to him as a “magnificent bastard”......how times have changed.......what HASN’T changed is people on FR are fickle. Lol!
You know, I can almost understand if the mother’s life is in danger...but that’s not what they are fighting for, even though they will say it is.
They don’t want to deal with a “mistake” made by them or their daughters. The best way is to wait until you are married.
The senate races in Ohio and Pennsylvania are also looking good for Republicans, with possible wins also in WI and MI. That would give us 55 seats.
House Democrats will turn on Harris by Friday to try to save themselves.
There was never a path for them on hold the senate this cycle..
However depending on how Trump does in the rust bet GOP may gain some seats no one thought the Dems could lose
Yes we are. Then again I always thought he was pompous.
I actually talked to Brown several years ago and he finally told me, “Let’s have blanket amnesty and then we can decide how high to build a fence and how many border patrol people we need. I told him to FO.
The bill that Brown is skewering Moreno for voting against included 5000 border crossers a day and blanket amnesty. I wish Moreno would point that out.
” I wish Moreno would point that out.”
Yep, that bill was simply meant to expedite crossings and processing. Moreno’s campaign is kind of lacking.
Brown lies to get elected. He used the same tactic on Renacci he’s now using on Moreno. A bit of the truth, but backfilled with lies.
I pray this catches up with him and he’s stopped. No one asks him if he would end the filibuster or pack the supreme court. Those moves are right up his alley. He is a total Leftist posing as a moderate.
Moloch must be sated!
Bernie Moreno has a slight lead in the polls in Ohio. I think he has a good chance of winning.
I wasn’t referring to you specifically.
Governor Desantis is another good example......a year ago people on FR had some really nasty things to say about him just because he had the audacity to run for POTUS......Which he has every right to do BTW.
But NOW, to hear the same people tell it, he’s the greatest governor in the history of America. Lol!
It’s just a trip. 😂
