The Atlantic Endorses Harris Because ‘She Believes in Democracy’
Breitbart ^ | 10/10/2024 | Wendell Husebø

The Atlantic endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday, citing her belief in Democracy and stating she “won’t abuse” power and “curry favor with dictators.”

The endorsement of Harris is not a surprise. The Atlantic endorsed against Trump in the past two presidential cycles with its only third and fourth endorsements since the magazine’s founding in 1857.

The Atlantic‘s endorsement, which read like a hit piece on Trump, did not mention Harris in the first three paragraphs of the endorsement. Instead, it alleged that Trump is “one of the most personally malignant and politically dangerous candidates in American history”:

“Democracy” is when the incumbent President is threatened and browbeaten until he agrees not to run for re-election.

Lol.

No primaries for her.
14 million votes for Biden — but they don’t count.
Democracy is so important, they had to stage a coup, push her forward and say The Hell With the Voters.

The Atlantic will suffer if their endorsement is correct.

The Atlantic endorses the candidate selected in the most undemocratic way possible because of democracy?

They wouldn’t print that garbage if they weren’t sure the public was dumber than rocks.

I understand that this is about the magazine. But I would also note that the Atlantic is currently throwing big storms at us because the current administration has lost the Mandate of Heaven.

“The Atlantic Endorses Harris Because ‘She Believes in Democracy’”

Baloney. The Atlantic doesn’t believe in Democracy and neither does Harris. The one and only reason they endorse her is because she’s a leftist democrat.

So the Atlantic is admitting they do not believe in the Republic and the Constitution that created it, instead they way raw mob rule and the oppressions of the individuals rights by the majority.

That is what democracy is.

I believe in our Republic and thus our Constitution and the framework for the USA, which is why I can not vote for Harris as she, and obviously the Atlantic, want to destroy individual freedoms and the Constitution in favor of mob rule.

Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs, owns a majority stake in The Atlantic magazine. The magazine is a vanity project of a rich widow, It doesn’t have an audience.

Sounds like 1984

“war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.”

We can add democracy is censorship.

“They wouldn’t print that garbage if they weren’t sure the public was dumber than rocks.”

And they would have to be “dumber than rocks”... to not know that the candidate always spouting the “our democracy” mantra is the one of the party that is actually seeking to do away with capitalism and democracy... and replace it with.... first, mobocracy and then communism.

The Atlantic isn’t for the regular public. It’s a reinforcement device for the leftists.

I recall being required to read a variety of periodicals in junior high, and was always amazed at the wonderful writing in The Atlantic, but whatever they were wonderfully articulating didn’t seem credible or sensible.

Intellectualism isn’t evil, but the misuse of it certainly is a hiding place for many sorts of evils.
