Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Thursday criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trip to Pennsylvania, where he appeared with Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) in what many Republicans saw as a political event.
Graham told reporters at the Capitol that “what happened in Pennsylvania was a mistake.”
Graham said he didn’t know who set the meeting up and that Zelensky’s visit to a munitions factory to thank workers “makes sense.” But the political overtones of the trip, Graham suggested, should have been avoided.
“Whether it was intended or not, [it] has a political perception, and that was a mistake,” Graham said.
But Graham also said that error should be stripped from the long-term goals of ensuring Ukraine is successful in its battle with Russia.

Graham is right for a change. Not only did Zelensky piss Trump off (not a good down range move) but the long term charity money Zelenscky seeks will virtually dry up if Trump is sitting in the Oval office.
At a minimum I predict, Trump will demand an audit of all the billions sent to Zelensky since Biden stole the presidency.

Graham playing both sides in front of the camera to make it sound like he’s concerned. Has he complained about all the other times Zelensky has flown here on his begging tours, or spoken to Congress? He’s a snake. I’m surprised he wasn’t there for the photo-op. During the Cold War, I would have expected him to have been a double-agent. That’s how he works.

It was NOT a mistake- it was a deliberate PROMOTION of arms for Ukraine planned for Gov. Shapiro (who was obviously guessed to be the VP choice, but wasn’t) being pals with Zelenskyy and to autograph bombs for Ukraine at that plant.
It was ALSO a Campaign event—and this should be brought out POLITICALLY by Trump and all else. The USAF flew Z in on a C-17 on our nickel to promote—— Ukraine for another 8 Billion we do NOT have. Period, over and out.
