In their effort to increase numbers in the Democratic Party, the Democrats didn’t anticipate the chaos they would cause.
A guy came om where I work to get a refund on a money transfer he sent for a Haitian orphanage. They are holed up in a warehouse and nobody could get out to collect the money to feed the kids because of the violence. He said that any money our govt sends to try to help actually only makes things worse because it ends up going to the gangs. Until we demand accountability for the “aid” we send - to either foreign countries or domestically - it will always end up in the hands of the corrupt and do more harm than good.
The “aid” we give, as things stand right now, is HURTING the people it is supposed to help, but it allows us to feel morally superior.
It’s the same thing that is happening in Springfield. The Haitians are being treated as slaves, the US citizens are being destroyed, and the only people who benefit are the people in power.
People need to understand it.
The same thing happens with abortion. Nazi supporter Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, said she only needed charismatic Black preachers to tell everyone that abortion is a great thing being withheld from the little people, and Blacks are stupid enough to exterminate themselves. It seems like she wasn’t wrong about that. But what has abortion done for women? The people who are really helped by abortion are men - specifically irresponsible men, pimps, and sex traffickers. Women are left with harm to their bodies, minds, and souls. And studies have shown that women in crisis pregnancies who abort have worse financial outcomes than those in similar situations who do not abort. People in women’s prison ministries say that 80% of the women in prisons began their life of crime in response to an abortion.
Abortion hurts women. But everybody can feel good about giving them a bandaid for the gaping, deadly wounds in their lives and go merrily on their way.
It stinks. This is the self-righteous sin that the churches need to repent of. They are using hurting people for their own feeling of righteousness but doing even more harm to those very people.
Without repentance, this country is shot to Hell.
