How the hell would they DO that? Is it some goofy EMP that causes the battery to go directly? That would be one hell of a pulse.
And who wears a pager anymore? I'm betting they did this to cell phones and are calling them "pagers" to keep us from getting suspicious about FedGov capabilities. I wonder what the range would be?

Without reading further what’s in a pager that could explode like this? The battery? It appears there would be an infiltration of the system of the distribution of the pagers. I would expect something like the battery was substituted for an identical looking battery with an explosive inside.
