Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), says forthcoming report on Trump assassination attempt "will absolutely shock the American people."
"I think the American people are going to be shocked, astonished & appalled by what we will report to them about the failures by the Secret Service in this assassination attempt on the former President."
"I think they also ought to be appalled & astonished by the failure of the Department of Homeland Security."
Dick “Stolen Valor” Blumenthal? Color me skeptical.
This announcement reads like one of those BOOM! articles Hannity used to post.
There were no failures less one.
This is the smokescreen.
Conservatives won’t be shocked, liberals won’t care.
No, it was Trump’s fault. He was supposed to stand still, like a little deer drinking water in a little brook, and then “BAM”, his brains all over the podium...///sarc///
Writing it off as a failure. It figures.
Lets see a real investigation.
Homeland Security has a completely different job than the Secret Service. They are not trained nor equipped for the job of protecting an ex president and party candidate! Why did this happen and who ordered it?
“If he’s saying this, they’re covering up something much worse.”
Exactly. The ssdd attempt to distract from the real failures, which are already obvious to most thinking (non-leftist) adults that have been and still are paying attention.
Well, that may be their most important job. but...
The Secret Service is also tasked with safeguarding the payment and financial systems of the United States from a wide range of financial and cyber-based crimes. Financial investigations include counterfeit U.S. currency, bank and financial institution fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, illicit financing operations, and major conspiracies. .
The Dems are telling the GOP they must be restrained, or they won’t go along.
The message is mitigated and moderated - Dems in Control, again.
Why has nobody been fired?
Might be a deep fake.
Interestingly, the last question was quite interesting. Will it be released today or tomorrow? Blumenthal responded no, but offered no timeline for its release.
My question is, what is the reason for the delay? Will it be held until after the 2024 election?
In other words, the odor is already reaching my nose, and it's not a pleasant odor.
There were no failures on the part of the Secret Service; it was orchestrated.
The assassin failed, thanks to Divine Intervention.
this is the senate report controlled by the dems
there is a house report as well?
Summary: they failed to kill Trump?
Whatever he’s appaled that it wasn’t successful. This just confirms that they were able to keep Rat hands clean when thry obviously are not.

Joe Biden praised ex-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned after facing a barrage of angry lawmakers on both sides of the aisle at a hearing on the agency’s failure to prevent an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump.
Biden said in his statement on Tuesday:
“Jill and I are grateful to Director Kim Cheatle for her decades of public service. She has selflessly dedicated and risked her life to protect our nation throughout her career in the United States Secret Service. We especially thank her for answering the call to lead the Secret Service during our Administration and we are grateful for her service to our family.”

I think he penned this was Quang Tri under fire
So he oughta know
Real Secret Service Agents were at a Tea Party Jill Biden was at.
But they sent in Homeland Security agents who had been well trained.
That is if watching a 2 hour video qualifies as being well trained.
