Vice President Harris and former President Trump stood just feet apart in New York City, hours after they faced off on the debate stage, to mark the 23th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Harris and President Biden stood to one side of former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg with former President Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) on his other side. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, an ex-attorney to Trump, stood next to Vance.
Before the event began, Harris chatted with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), Biden, and others around her while Trump mostly talked with Vance. At one point, Harris, Biden, Schumer, Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) were all huddled together talking.
A bell rang when American Airlines Flight 11 struck the World Trade Center’s North Tower at 8:46 a.m. The president and vice president bowed their heads during the moment of silence.

It would not be awkward for anyone there to honor those killed on that day (and in the days since) due to the attack. If you are there only to aggrandize yourself, the others in the crowd might bother you.

Pisses me off how people who celebrated on 9/11 are now in the US Congress and Government and are being paid by the U.S. taxpayers. That’s how azhos like Kambala Harass get elected.

These were all granted visas by our government who had to know where they were but as usual, blew them off as just more illegal aliens ... Until NEW YORKS 911!
What Really pisses me off is that Fox and the rest of the MSM is blathering about how great it is to see Kamala Harris standing solemnly at the memorial today.
What isn’t being said is that the certainty that something like this or worse has been guaranteed by this “Solemn Kamala Harris” and her allowing the red carpet treatment for the Illegals at our borders!
Being angry about the attack and how it came about has nothing to do with being awkward because your opposing candidate is also there. If Trump made a stink about her attendance at the ceremony, he would rightly be accused of detracting from the ceremony itself.
If Trump wants to make a point of the hypocrisy, he needs to do it away from the ceremonial stage.
We may just have to agree to disagree.
