Seven Republican-led states on Tuesday filed a lawsuit to challenge the Biden administration's latest student debt forgiveness plan, saying the U.S. Department of Education was taking steps to start canceling loans as soon as this week.

The lawsuit came less than a week after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the Biden administration's bid to revive a different student debt relief plan that was designed to lower monthly payments for millions of borrowers and speed up loan forgiveness for some.

My point is that parents can send their girls to college and somewhat avoid the rabid leftism, but once there it might as well be a re-education camp, turning them into degenerates and NPCs.

Its a monster of of peer pressure, social media acceptance, and say what I say to get grades. Long gone is open debate, discussion, and critical thinking. And the pressure to be in desouling hook up culture.

Trade schools grads and completed STEM degrees, perhaps. Or business tax credits for companies who foot the bill might be an avenue towards relieving some debts. Capping the interest rates at 3%

I thank my sons for paying off all the perverts student loans. Rub that salt in til it burns fiercely.

Unfairness is what people need to experience.

I’d like so see every person who loans are “forgiven” be required to provide hours of community service, freeway cleanup, childcare service, etc, to offset the cost of that forgiveness.

I certainly don't want just anyone caring for my child.

Any "forgiveness" under this plan requires that taxpayers who are uninvolved in the situation altogether pay the debt they do not owe. It is an illegal taking by government fiat, IMO.

Yep, DemocRats demanded that banks make loans to pretty much anyone with a pulse. Then they accused the same banks of predatory lending.
