Seven Republican-led states on Tuesday filed a lawsuit to challenge the Biden administration's latest student debt forgiveness plan, saying the U.S. Department of Education was taking steps to start canceling loans as soon as this week.
The lawsuit came less than a week after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the Biden administration's bid to revive a different student debt relief plan that was designed to lower monthly payments for millions of borrowers and speed up loan forgiveness for some.

Its a transfer of liability from the one who voluntarily took the loans and spent the money, often on weekend binges and mostly on 4-year degrees in utter nonsense, to you and I to repay it. We get none of the benefits and 100% of the bill.
I’d like so see every person who loans are “forgiven” be required to provide hours of community service, freeway cleanup, childcare service, etc, to offset the cost of that forgiveness. Still BS, but far fewer will take the deal since it will involve actual work and effort, and we taxpayers may get something back for our money.
If they suspended the debt they can reinstate it.

This is taking money from people who could not afford colleges; laborers, uber drivers, waitresses, etc., and is giving them to rich people to pay off their debt. 2/3s of them young brainwashed women.
A friend of mine has 6 kids all born within a year or two of each other, one was a pair of twins. That was around 20 years ago and right now he’s going through financial hell with these college costs. Working all his life and corruption wipes him out.
Have you ever noticed that democrats will always scream about price gouging when it comes to gas or food but they will never ever ever speak about the price gouging of tuition?
Tuition in most schools IS price gouging. But there is one school local to me that will accept the Tennessee Promise scholarship as payment in full for a four year degree in the liberal arts. Or you can get the basics for a hard science degree for free.

My son had a $30K student loan. He spent a year in Iraq to pay it off...
So SCOTUS rules mean nothing to the left. They also ruled that many of the J6 political prisoners are illegally being held, but they are still being held.
Person 1 invests $150,000 in a business. Buys land and equipment. That person then has to pay real estate and property taxes.
Person 2 invests $150,000 in an education. That person doesn’t pay additional taxes on his investment.
Person 2 then expects person 1 to then pay his investment off.
Seems to me person 1 has already did his part...
