The body of Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin has been found in the tunnels under Rafah. Hamas had abducted the 23-year-old dual citizen on October 7 from the Nova music festival and an IDF rescue operation was closing in on his position when Hamas murdered him along with 5 other hostages.
There are no words to describe the inhumanity of the act. For the six hostages to have survived almost a year in the most unspeakably brutal conditions only to have their captors cruelly murder them when they were on the brink of being rescued demonstrates the heartlessness and cruelty of human beings without conscience, without a spark of human decency.
Goldberg-Polin's parents had traveled the world, looking to put pressure on Netanyahu to come to an agreement with Hamas and bring the hostages home. The couple gave an emotionally wrenching speech at the Democratic National Convention last week.
“This is a political convention. But needing our only son — and all of the cherished hostages — home is not a political issue. It is a humanitarian issue,” said his father, Jon Polin. His mother, Rachel added very quietly, “Hersh, if you can hear us, we love you, stay strong, survive."
Joe Biden took a moment away from working on his suntan to make a statement.

Prayers that the narrative over all this doesn’t get muddled and twisted and distorted into oblivion by the Harris/Walz camp during the debate on Sep 10th. So, they are appearing at a political convnetion, in an appearance that is scheduled to pressure Israel and thus appease the very protestors outside the convention that want Israel destroyed and, really, every Jew killed. From the river to the sea means what it sounds like.
Oh well, I suppose that they had to obey that lefty programming.
This Death of a US Citizen is due to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris vile policies.
It will happen to others held hostage unless Hamas is swiftly eradicated.

That would be a political nightmare. Can you imagine a Democrat asking to extradite one of those poor, downtrodden Palestinians who are only protecting themselves from aggression so that person can be convicted of a crime and sentenced to die? How would the Jew hating majority of Democrats react? That would be a bit like the first president Roosevelt sending in the Marines to get some white woman out of jail in a little foreign country.
If they are killing hostages this way, it would be better to nuke Gaza and give a merciful end to all of them.

Only folks that have experienced the low rumble of high explosives raining down on the enemy can appreciate the secure feeling you describe. It’s kind of like going to sleep while listening to your favorite classical music and at the same time being assured that there will be a whole lot less of the enemy in the morning.
