Russia Issues New Nuclear Warning as Ukraine's Kursk Invasion Expands

Russia issued a warning about an alleged Ukrainian attack on a nuclear power plant as Kyiv continues its invasion of Kursk.

Kyiv launched its surprise incursion into Kursk, which borders Ukraine's Sumy region, on August 6. Since then, Ukrainian forces have seized control of 1,250 square kilometers (482 square miles) of Russian territory and 92 settlements, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday.

On Friday, Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told state media outlet Tass that Ukraine allegedly attempted to attack the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) with a drone, warning that there must be an investigation into the alleged attack from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

What if Putin stops fighting like George McClellan and finally gets on with the “bloody arithmetic” tonight? Where are those 300,000 uncommitted Russian reserves? Belarus border, masquerading as Belarusians, perhaps?

What if Putin coordinates his Independence Day Surprise with an OK to Tehran to use everything the Russians have sent, installed and are manning any way they wanted tonight?

Simple solution.
Send Kamala over there to settle this thing and then on the way home she can broker a ceasefire and set up a two state solution for Israel and Gaza to keep Muslim votes in the US swing states. With Biden and her greeting the freed hostages.
Biden: “Don’t applaud me, this is the gal who did it all.”

Wars may come and go, targets may come and go, but bombing a nuclear power plant is really never a good idea. For ALL parties involved.

The longer this goes on without a significant response from the Russians, the longer it appears the Russians cannot significantly respond, or, at least, they cannot do so for some period of time.

It appears the Russians bet the farm on believing Ukraine would not take some of their territory as Russia has done with Ukrainian territory.

Land belongs to those who can hold it with force.

Russia should settle the fight with Ukraine by settling for all of Ukraine, and Ukraine getting all of Russia. Even trade and fighting stops, everyone goes home.

Putin gets Ukraine, as they set out to get it with their invasion. Zelensky gets Russia and gifts Putin a dancing costume to use on Ukraine TV.

The Kursk Pocket is the last and the fatal mistake the rainbow warrior dip$hits in the Pentagon committed in their war. Why do you think Putin has that “come hither” rope a dope response going? Once the NATO dullards with Butcher Syrski leading get the rest of the Uke reserves in, the door slams behind them. Try a little original thinking rather parroting administration BS.

The most obvious explanation is they do not have the means and organization to get it done.

The administration and the Pentagon appear to have been as clueless as the Russians about this move. It probably would not have happened if the Biden Administration knew about it. They have been handicapping the Ukrainians since day one, with many non-military requirements about what they could and could not do. Many think they are giving just enough support to keep the war going, which benefits China immensely.

Original thinking is a good thing.

The solution is obvious, Hardspunned.

The Russians should launch about 20 nukes at those awful Ukrainians in Russian territory.

Bialorus army 8s about 50k, so 300k would have been noticed.

Muscowy does not have 300k reserves or else it would nit leave its border with a country it has been at war with for 10 years, undefended

Wait a second.

I thought Russia is a threat that is going to keep invading and take back all the former Soviet Republics?

You know, invade through the Fulda gap and push us all the way to the Rhein.

Hint: the big Russian scare is right up there with the Covid scare, the climate change scare, the Russian collusion story... and there is someone that lied/lies to you, but it ain’t Russia.

The Ukrainians cannot hold their own land with force - Donbas is falling.

They cannot resupply themselves adequately in Russia and do not 'hold' the land - they are occupying regions that have been evacuated. Zelensky set up an administrative office in an abandoned village.

Zelensky claims the Ukrainians 'hold' land wherever they send recon teams - they do not hold land in Russia. They travel through it or occcupy abandoned villages. I was suprised that the NYT article I read suggested this was a wise move recommended by Biden regime.

Russia is responding the way it intends for terrorism and rate of death (both sides).

All I know about nuclear power plants in that part of the world I learned (for better or worse) from HBO’s ‘Chernobyl’. I would like to think that both Russia and Ukraine want nothing to do with messing with a nuclear plant.

Putin already stole a Ukrainian nuclear power plant. Lock, stock and barrel. Bolshevik bandits really don’t have a leg to stand on here.

It seems most commentators aren’t even aware that Russia already stole a Ukrainian nuclear power plant. It’s hard to debate with stupid.
