Dem Rep. Amo: Harris’ ‘Thoughtful’ Policies on Inflation Have Had Benefits
Breitbart ^ | 08/17/2024 | Ian hatchett

On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “The Hill,” Rep. Gabe Amo (D-RI) responded to arguments that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t taken on inflation during her tenure as Vice President, by stating that “we are seeing the benefits of real, thoughtful policy from President Biden and Vice President Harris” because inflation has declined.

After playing video of 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump responding to Harris’ vow to tackle inflation on day one by pointing out that she’s been Vice President for three-and-a-half years, host Blake Burman asked, “Why hasn’t she done it, Congressman?”

Inflation is decreasing. Of course.

Good news folks, the ship is only sinking in an hour, before it was fifty minutes. We are all saved.

Excuse me stewardess, I speak Democrat… “she said since we drove stores out of business, destroyed jobs and flooded 10 million more non workers, homeless ‘guests’ into the USA there is no more inflation. No jobs, no pay, no buy, no money chasing goods! Easy Peary!”

Inflation has slowed - but from a base that is still 20-30% higher than before the Biden admin.

That is nothing to brag about - and these idiots should be called out on it immediately.

The lower cost of energy, thanks to bumblin' biden/hiden' harris depletion of
the strategic reserve, will only last until camalatoe assumes the presidential
mantle.

The cost of living in the USA will then again skyrocket.

Inflation has NOT declined, only the rate of growth of inflation. Inflation is like compound interest, in which the accrued interest is added to the principal, and the rate is then applied to that increased amount. Still more than it was a few years earlier.

There is no going back unless the national currency is revaluated. say like a ration of 10 to 1, or 100 to one. There was a time, while I was stationed overseas in Germany, when the exchange rate was 500 French Francs to the US dollar, then the “new franc” was introduced, and the exchange was made to be 5 “new francs” to the dollar.

France immediately went back to regular devaluations of even the “new Franc”, until the “Euro”, a supernational coinage of the European Union, was introduced.

There needs to be a factual discussion about the debt, without any propaganda by democrats or republicans.

Inflation is cumulative. An annual rate is only part of the equation.

BOTH

I spent 2 + hours yesterday finding my records from 2008—2016—2020—and my current records.

I was searching for my grocery purchases for price comparisons. I made a spread sheet I am sending to Trump.

Examples:

Loaf of simple white bread at Wal Mart was 84 cents. Now over $1.50

2 liter bottle of Coca Cola was $1.25 now over $2.68.

Whole milk/gallon was $2.83 NOW $4.04

NONE of these politicians personally go to a grocery store.

They are TOTALLY CLUELESS

The best example of inflation I have seen:

In 2020 I weighed 200 pounds.
I gained 11 pounds in 2021.
I gained 9 pounds in 2022.
I gained 6 pounds in 2023.
I gained 3 pounds in 2024.

Success...I’ve only gained 3 pounds this year.
I weigh 229 pounds up 29 pounds from 2020.

All bad. In my 56 years of grocery shopping never seen these prices, poor quailty meat, and produce. Or as many recalls. Kroger store brand bread is $2.39. Use to pay 99 cents. That is over 150% increase. SPAVING is trickery. https://theweek.com/personal-finance/spaving-overspending-money-saving

Splain to me exactly what policies that are in place are Harris’s? There are not now nor will there be in the future any policies put in place by either Harris or Biden, they simply do as their handlers tell them too.
