Anything pro Trump or anti lefty

I use Yandex

I know it’s russkie but it’s like daily mail

More honest about our searches

Remember in the old days of unencumbered or unrestricted slow internet?

Search results were demand oriented for ranking results

Not picked to promote the woke narrative like now

The Borg it all is

McAfee..which I don’t use..is somehow on my computer. It periodically changes my default search to Yahoo search engine. I have to go in and change it every time.

Limit the access to electricity.
Make Google a fee based service without advertising revenue.

Google has bought and paid the Democrat masters

Maybe Democrats are using the threat of this in order to force the Alphabet to do something they don't want to do on their own?

Some sort of MAJOR election fraud??

Gee, that’s odd.

You mean there are alternatives to Google?

That’s impossible. The gubmint says Google is a monopoly.

Clearly this Startpage, and Duck Duck Go, and Bing, and others are Fake News.

Well, I am SO glad we have the government there to rescue us Little People from the bondage of being FORCED to use ONE search engine - a non-essential product.

I am RELIEVED the government is violating the Constitution and the Commerce Clause to break up a private enterprise.

Even BETTER, we can trust Merrick Garland to break up Google.

It’s so refreshing to see alleged conservatives FINALLY get on the leftist bandwagon of an activist government untethered to our Foundung Principles. Obama is smiling.

Thanks for posting that. Have used start page for a couple of years. This will take the frustration level way down!

“My opinion, it should be broken up. Split search, YouTube and Adsense into 3 separate entities. At least that much. Maybe also split up their gmail and related functions (their version of excel, word, collaboration etc) into another entity.”

yep, and split off everything else, such as google drive, google picture, pinterest, etc. ... but none of that will really impact the google search monopoly, plus those split-off services will all die on the vine as free services anyway once cut off from the financial mothership ...

so will probably also require enjoining certain google search biz practices such as enjoining the collection, use, storage and sale of garnered search data and purging all such collected data to date ... perhaps also enjoining google search from ranking based on amount paid or something like that ... and even THAT probably won’t be enough, so really don’t know how to fully rein in google search at this point;

“Split Android off, see how fast that steaming pile sinks to the bottom without cash coming from Goog.:

yet another great idea ... pretty much all ancillary “free” google services would die on the vine if/when cut off from the financial mothership of google search, but such splits would really just make google search more profitable ...

There are many search engines out there. How does Google have a monopoly? Anyone can choose the platform of their choice.
