San Francisco's glitzy hotels have been plunged into massive debt following a dramatic drop off in tourism to the Golden Gate City.
The Californian city's two biggest hotels, the Hilton Parc 55 and Hilton San Francisco Union Square, have lost a combined $1billion in value, according to the Kroll Bond Rating Agency.
Their worth is now $553.8 million.

Brought to you by YOU OWN VOTES for Democrats
They don’t need tourism, they can fill those hotels with illegals.
Go woke and get.... umm something.
And yet, 90%+ of the people in the city will continue to vote for candidates who would make Karl Marx look like a free-market capitalist and who would make the Marquis de Sade look like a choir boy.
When you stay in a 5 star hotel at taxpayer expense do you also get your meals paid for in the hotel restaurant? just curious because the last place I would ever eat is the restaurant in a hotel filled with nondocument carrying future voting citizens, and the hotel would only put up with this if their restaurant costs of operations were covered by the borrowed revenue in excess of funds raised through taxes.
“They don’t need tourism, they can fill those hotels with illegals.”
The homeless should take priority.

And they likely will keep on voting that way. Stuck on stupid they are.
Wasn’t taxing marijuana suppose pay off our debt?
Their worth is now $553.8 million.
Which will certainly result in an immediate reduction in property taxes, right?
Tourism I down BECAUSE street after street of businesses and shops are boarded up, fisherman’s wharf with all of its once great restaurants and unique shops is damn near completely boarded up and has become a ghost town! BIG tech is pulling up roots and leaving the area!! Shopping is now done by appointment only because of the theft and danger to staff and customers WHO IN THE HELL would want to go there??? Hotels in the area will be bankrupt within the next year BANK ON IT!!
Newsom and Kamala’s work is nearly complete.
“..have lost a combined $1billion in value..”
It’s a start.
someone is missing a “golden state” opportunity here. a vacay for the true thrill seeker would include being held up at gunpoint in a state known for dangerous excitement and adventure. and if You are lucky you’ll get winged by a golden state official bullet and be attended to by bullet-ducking EMT’s who will load and transport you while under fire and make sure you arrive at a golden state socialist hospital where you will be greeted by an emergency room already filled with people who don’t speak English and have your life saved (just barely) by an emergency team that speak only in hindi and some broken english then whisked away to a room with six other beds filled with fellow golden state thrill seekers! food, drink and medical supplies not included. book your ultimate golden state vacay now! before someone comes along and makes California safe again.
OK by me. My point being that neither the homeless nor aliens will keep those hotels alive.
Why do you assume CA voted for this?
If they had, why has Deep State needed to make all those changes to CA’s elections laws, hmmmm?
Why does Deep State need to steal CA’s elections?
I don’t know that people outside the area know how entrenched the idiocy is. In presidential elections you’re off, but not by much. The Democrat candidate has commanded at least 83% of the vote every election since 2008. “Stuck on stupid” doesn’t even begin to cover it

Who cares? They apparently support the Cali-nitwit pols who run SF. LOL...More popcorn!
When your travel agent gives you the hotel brochure, the city brochures AND the map where all the feces and urine gets regularly dropped, it kinda takes the shine off vacationing there.
I was in SF years ago headed out for the far east. It was 1969. I got to see it all at the best of times. Haight-Ashbury Sts. The clubs.....all clean (at least cleaner than the poop filled streets now). Rode the street cars, drove down Lombard st.....
My last time there was in Palo Alto near the Loma Prieta fault in 1989...now that was an interesting time.
