Donald Trump did something Kamala Harris has failed to do since she ripped the 2024 Democratic nomination away from Joe Biden: answered questions from the press. The event, held at Mar-a-Lago, featured Trump ripping into Harris’ intelligence, announcing three dates for debates with the vice president, and warning how the nation is on the verge of economic disaster if Kamala wins in November.
The media tried to fact-check the president, and it devolved into such a ticky-tack game of linguistic nonsense that it only served as yet another reminder of why these clowns are mocked and distrusted. First, CNN tried to say that Trump was wrong to say that Kamala Harris failed to pass the bar. Harris did eventually pass—the operative word being eventually. It took Ms. Harris multiple times to pass the bar exam.

“Graduates of national law schools tend to have lower first time bar passage rates than regional law schools….”
I beg to differ. These “national law schools” actually have higher first time passage rates, though some regional law schools may have higher rates in particular states. Harvard and Yale are consistently in the high 90’s. I recall taking a look at the details for Mrs. Bill flunking the DC bar several years ago. As I recall she may have been the only Yale student taking it to fail.
I went to what would be considered a national law school but not in the top 30, though it’s latest pass rate was in the top 15 and when I took and passed the CA bar it had a much higher pass rate than even the regional schools, even highly rated ones.
I would tend to question the intelligence of these politicians who failed the bar exam despite having supposedly some of the best education available . It would be interesting to see how many of Harris’ classmates failed the CA bar with her. The California bar is very hard, but the low pass rate includes a lot of people who attended unaccredited law schools.
It is a difficult exam. Failing it once isn’t that shameful of a thing.
Failing it multiple times is a red flag.
Except that he didn’t go “down in a helicopter with him” and there was no emergency landing. Trump does have a tendency to confuse peoples names but it’s unusual to be mistaken about a helicopter making an emergency landing.
Oh you saw that too, a few leftist I know are all up in arms about the helicopter story, because the leftist buy into it, then call Trump a moron
Was it an oral exam?
No. She would have aced that first time out the shoot.
Well I don’t know if he’s lying or just confused. There is no record of it happening. If Willie Brown almost went down in a helicopter crash it would have been reported, at least in California. Some say he mistook Jerry Brown for Willie Brown but Jerry Brown says there was no emergency landing and no discussion of Harris. Do you think Donald Trump and Willie Brown were in a helicopter that made an emergency landing?
Proof that the article did not mention an emergency helicopter landing with Trump and Willie Brown aboard? Proof is in the article. Proof that Trump mentioned such a crash in his press conference? It’s on the video of the press conference.
What am I lying about? Are you saying the article above mentions this helicopter ride? Are you saying that Donald Trump and Willie Brown were together on a helicopter that made an emergency landing? Where is the proof of that?
You are a Democrat disrupter. Go back to DU or wherever you came from.
Again, once CA re-establishes 'reading' for the law, the bar exam is dead nationwide. Someone will sue states with tight reciprocity laws (ie, "you must take our bar"), and win.
Reciprocity will then be established easily, simply a matter of a short period of practice in CA and then review.
CA will become the law $chool diploma mill that it always wanted to be, churning out thousands and thousands of "Nathan Wade"'s. In 10 years, CA lawyers starting out will make less than a burger flipper. SCHADENFREUDE!
It was his story. I wish he take a minute to remember The facts before telling it. As far as everyone knows, what he says is truth. He needs to remember that.
Lolz. You clearly are being sarcastic.

When did California stop allowing people to read the law and take the bar exam?
At some point in my military past in the Army, we were taught that an acceptable generic term for any member of the military was soldier.
I don’t know if that’s still taught, but it used to be.
Plus some friendly persuasion?
Teddy Kennedy never passed a bar he didn’t stop in and have a couple.
Well, I wouldn't doubt that the army teaches that because "soldier" is the specific term for a member of the army. It's self-serving for the army to do that.
But I've never known a Marine, sailor, or airman who considered themselves a "soldier".
Turns out it was a case of mistaken identity and not a lie. Try again, Madame Secretary.
I agree that any marine, sailor, or airman would shake their heads, and they probably should, but I remember it clear as a bell. I think it was even a question on an E-5 promotion board.
