Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has met with Vice President Kamala Harris’ vetting team as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee considers who to choose as her running mate, sources confirmed to ABC News.

The governor had previously declined to comment on whether he was sending vetting materials to Harris’ team.

Let me preface this by saying that I really and truly despise Tim Walz. God help this country if he becomes VP. He is as vacuous as they come. But low info voters and soccer moms lap up everything he says.

Having said all that, if Harris picks him, it would lead me to believe that the campaign is worried about losing Minnesota.

I hope it’s him for the same reason but doubt it. I still think it’s Shapiro despite the sexual abuse allegations that some LW rag circulated yesterday. Slotkin, also Jewish, appears to be leading in Michigan, so I don’t buy that picking a Jew is going to hurt her much outside of PA. If he delivers PA for her, it narrows Trump’s path quite a bit. Almost certainly keeps him under 300 EV’s.
