TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the assassination but suspicion immediately fell on Israel, which has vowed to kill Haniyeh and other leaders of Hamas over the group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people and saw some 250 others taken hostage.
Iran’s statement gave no details on how Haniyeh was killed.
Iranian state television reported on his death early Wednesday, and analysts immediately began blaming Israel for the attack.
Israel itself did not immediately comment but it often doesn’t when it comes to assassination carried out by their Mossad intelligence agency.

EVIL ERADICATED: HAMAS CHIEF ISMAIL HANIYEH ASSASSINATED IN IRAN
Hamas chief Ismael Haniyeh has been assassinated in Iran, according to a statement from the Iran Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) aired on Press TV.
According to initial reports, Haniyeh was killed along with his bodyguard at his home in Tehran when a precision missile was fired into the residence. Additional details were not immediately available.
Hamas confirmed that Haniyeh is dead. The terror leader had been in Iran to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the country’s new president, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Amen
They reached out to Tehran and got him. I would think Hamas leaders wherever they are are noting this. They are not safe. ANYWHERE.
He wasn’t assassinated. He was a casualty of war
This rat enriched himself while murdering innocent people. He shouldn’t be missed by anyone.
I’m sure there are many in DC who are very saddened right now.

Israel says it has killed a top Hezbollah commander after carrying out an air strike on a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Israeli military says Fuad Shukr was the target of an “intelligence-based elimination”.
Hezbollah has not yet confirmed his death, but says Shukr was in a building that was hit at the time.
Israeli officials say he was responsible for a rocket attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday which killed 12 people, mostly children. Hezbollah has denied any involvement in that attack.
Mossad has been having a busy day it seems...
I hope he’s enjoying his 72 virgin demons in hell…
good shooting!
I believe Israel did this.
Its a proportionate retaliation to the massacre Hamas committed on those Israeli children the other day.
Likely just done by local rebels.
IDF wouldn’t do that :)
