Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Tuedsay that attacks claiming Vice President Harris was hired as part of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives is “stupid.”
“I would say, two attacks I’ve heard Republicans give that are totally stupid and dumb to do is the DEI attack, okay?” McCarthy said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press NOW.”
“The other attack that I would not do is saying that the president has to resign,” he added. “That would be an advantage for Kamala.”
Harris is likely to replace President Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket, after the incumbent announced over the weekend that he would withdraw from the race. If elected in November, she would make history again as the first woman and person of South Asian descent to hold the nation’s highest office.

Biden SAID she was a DEI hire, but not in those words. A distinction without a difference.
Biden himself limited his choice to a black female, so there’s that.
Shame on Kevin for keeping Biden's condition quiet until after the debate. He's a proven liar.
McCarthy is part of the swamp, but on this I agree with him. There are still lots of Americans who think DEI is a good thing. You aren’t going to win many of those people over, but if you attack Harris on the basis of DEI, you won’t win any of them over.
It’s tragic, but if Joe is removed, and Harris is elevated to POTUS, that will give her the power of incumbency. Sadly, in America, incumbency wins voters.
Focus on Harris’ policy stances, and lack of accomplishment.

Kevin would be a good VP pick for Kamel.
It would prove the DEI theory.
Next, McCarthy will say the people need to vote for Harris to prove they are not racist or sexist.
Just run this without saying anything else.
Don’t confuse the two. They can be mutually inclusive. The DEI agenda and its participants can both be “stupid”.
Don’t tell me all these wacky Indo, Jamaican, Haitian, Hispanic and other minority Feral “judges” are NOT part of some kind of fag liberal program like DEI. DEI is just an acronym for AFFIRMATIVE ACTION except DEI is coated with reverse RACISM.

I’d like to ask Kevin to his face exactly why he thought Kamala Harris was hired for the VP position.
She couldn’t get 2% of the primary vote in HER OWN STATE and he certainly knows that.
She wasn’t chosen for her popularity, intelligence or knowledge of foreign affairs.
So what is it, Kevin?
