Report: Secret Service Snipers Instructed NOT to Fire Until AFTER Assassin Takes the First Shot
The Libertydaily ^ | 7/15/24 | Discern Reporter

RealClearPolitics White House and National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree dropped an important report on the failure of the Secret Service to protect President Donald J. Trump and those around him during last week’s Pennsylvania rally.

According to Crabtree, the potential lack of drones and the “DEI” protocols at the Secret Service contributed to the failure, but the biggest reason Trump’s life was put in danger is because rules of engagement prohibit snipers from engaging until the assassin shoots first.

Then the SS man was immediately fired for making this info public. Need source.

I saw the source for that claim. It was 4chan. So it MUST be true. (lol)

I’ll call BS on the story about an assassin must fire first. That breaks all the rules of stupidity.

You could see in the video the snipers on the roof. The one with the tripod had eyes on him for a while before the first shot. When crooks shot the sniper jumped, went right back to the scope. What I am not sure of is when he took his shot. I heard 2 shots and a burst. Then a much more quiet shot. When watching the video tmz has where the guy was filming him line up to shoot at Trump there was a lady yelling and screaming and some say she was yelling at crooks to get down from there. He took the shots and the guy filming him said he is turning our way. When he said that you heard the quieter shot and the girl screaming and crying and you heard people saying they got him. Something is not adding up. I guess when he said he is turning our way the shooter was trying to turn around and get away.

Ok, the person with a rifle and scope crawls on the roof, lays in a prone manner and sites through the scope. If that person does not fire, would they still be arrested and charged with attempted assassination? Maybe they were just using the scope to get a better view because if the SS did not fire they must not of thought the person was an assassin.

But in Mar-a-Lago, they had full authority to use deadly force.

Why do you think they ordered all security cameras turned off when they arrived?

I thought it was so they would not be caught on camera sniffing Melania's panties.

I am sure that was the rule when Dan was serving, but this is under a Biden selected head of secret service. They need to ask flat out. What are the ROE?

if it was the responsi9bility of the local police, and it had been one of their guys, then they should have told the SS that they were putting a guy on the roof and not to shoot- they would have described him too being that the shooter was not dressed in official clothing but civilian clothes

I imagine though the SS will blame it on the local police- and perhaps rightfully so- but the fact is that there was a huge breakdown of communication between the 2 units-

Exactly. LE snipers needing a “green light” or authorization hasn’t been the case for decades. Since that 1970s SWAT TV show.

The only exception is a standoff, with negotiators etc...with exceptions.

They are still cops and have full authority to open fire when they see a man with a gun moving to kill ANYONE. No permission is needed.

But with this current USSS director woman, she might well have issued such orders, she’s a loose cannon. She dictated no red ties, how many females, etc etc.

A policy of "Let the assassin take the first shot" is absurdly at odds with the core Secret Service mission of protecting the VIP. It begs the question: Who gave this order, and when? Is the same policy in force for Biden, for example?

1. Reports that the SS deliberately let the assassin shoot at Trump. 2. Despite ample forewarning and the gunman being in plain sight to many people, who were alerting LEO, there was no response to rush the stage and shield Trump or move him to a safe position. 3. No drones. 4. No LEO securing of the roof despite many experienced commenters saying it was an obvious threat zone that should have been secured.

I don't as a rule indulge in conspiracy theories. But facts are facts. This stinks to high heaven. I hope the congressional calls for "investigation" get truly to the bottom of this stench, and it results in more than a "sternly worded letter."

Whether rank DEI incompetence or what amounts to a conspiracy to allow the first rando with a gun to assassinate Trump, America needs to massively reject and disempower the ruling elites who have created this situation.

... at least warn the potential victim so he can get out of the way...

Yeah, get him down behind the safety panel and covered!

Someone posted on Patriots.win that it was important that Trump made sure he let us know he was able to get up and speak. Because if they had shuffled him away to the car without any of us knowing his status, who knows what they would have done to him... “Oh, he didn’t make it, he succumbed to his wounds in the car on the way to the hospital.”

And they could have gotten away with it.

They could shoot the gun out of his hands, shoot the roof nearby.

Dan Bongino says that is utter BS. Every law enforcement official in the country is allowed to take out an imminent threat before they kill somebody.

I am so sick of people lying. The only way we know what is true is by getting actual documents and sworn testimony, BEFORE it can all be doctored up and destroyed by the FBI or any other of Merrick Garland’s henchmen.

We should be having sworn Congressional public hearings TODAY.

Once the cop confronted the person on the roof and backed down, Trump’s speech should have been delayed till the man was taken into custody.

Crooks saw the cop and started firing right NOW. There was no taking him anywhere. He knew he wasn't going home.

Got to be fair and give the shooter a chance. If he kills Trump and SS kills the shooter then the score is even and SS guys and gals can go home satisfied.
