Wisconsin Supreme Court overturns ruling that barred most ballot drop boxes
Nbc ^

The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Friday ruled 4-3 to reinstate the use of most ballot drop boxes across the crucial battleground state, overturning a decision it made less than two years ago that banned the use of most of those boxes.

"Our decision today does not force or require that any municipal clerks use drop boxes," the decision Friday read. "It merely acknowledges...that clerks may lawfully utilize secure drop boxes in an exercise of their statutorily-conferred discretion."

The Constitution states that the manner of election is determined by the legislatures of the States.

Yup.

The legislature could very simply draft and pass a law that bars use of such boxes, removing any “discretion” or ambiguity.

Republicans need to stuff those boxes. Stuff them overflowing. That’s the only way this gets reformed.

“What happened to that “democracy” they go on about?”

This is democracy. Rule by “them” by whatever tactic wins the day.

“Secure” drop boxes. (spit)

Who is going to monitor them for ballot box stuffing?

There’s only one thing that will force action on this issue — when Republicans become better at ballot harvesting than Democrats. Then, all this stuff will immediately be made illegal.

“The legislature could very simply draft and pass a law that bars use of such boxes, removing any “discretion” or ambiguity.”

And Governor Tony Evers will sign it. Right.

They \should\ but where do they get their hands on that many ballots that are controlled by the Democrats?

Burn the print-houses.

“All they do is substitute the polling location check-in station for an anonymous person dropping some envelope into a box at 3 in the morning.”

Or more likely dropping 500 at once at 3 in the morning.

The feckless WI GOP let the rats steal the WI SC. This is the result. This law was the #1 rat target.

I see no reason that stuffing these drop boxes shouldn’t be done.

4-3 - sitting back and not paying any attention to that Supreme Court race while the Left mobilized nationwide to get that seat has consequences...

Really, it doesn't matter that Joe Biden is a zombie. The Democrats will have to focus on ballot harvesting inside this blue wall states - MI, PA and WI to pull out a win in the EC with 270.

Again, it is the Wisconsin Supreme Court's radical leftist justices who continue to give aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.

These four radical leftist justices are a disgrace to the United States and include:
Ann Walsh Bradley
Rebecca Dallet
Jill Karofsky
Janet Protasiewicz

The dissenting conservative justices are:
Chief Justice Annette Ziegler
Rebecca Grassl Bradley (not related to Ann Walsh Bradley)
Brian Hagedorn

The Wisconsin Supreme Court justices are elected to 10-year terms in statewide, non-partisan [but see Note 1] elections, so the majority of Wisconsin voters bear some responsibility for this.

_____________
Note 1: Spectrum News noted: "Liberal Justice Janet Protasiewicz even went so far as stating openly during her campaign that she supports abortion rights, a major departure for a judicial candidate. Typically such candidates refrain from speaking about their personal views out of concerns they could appear biased on the bench."

This after another “Lib” was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Court should not be elected - “popular” - but be about the Constitution and the law, whether that makes a popular decision or not.
