Trump leads Biden in new polls by New York Times, Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Donald Trump has established a sizable lead over President Joe Biden in the White House race since the two candidates debated last week, according to separate opinion polls published on Wednesday by the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Biden vowed to stay in the 2024 presidential race during a call with campaign staff on Wednesday and sought to reassure top Democrats on Capitol Hill that he is fit for reelection, despite his halting, shaky debate performance last week.

The New York Times and Siena College poll showed Trump, a Republican, building a 6 percentage point lead – 49% to 43% – over Biden, a Democrat, among registered voters that the Times considered likely to cast ballots in the Nov. 5 election. It was Trump’s largest lead in a Times/Siena poll since 2015, when he was campaigning ahead of his 2016 presidential election victory. Among all registered voters in the poll, Trump led by 9 points.

The Wall Street Journal poll showed Trump with a 6 point lead over Biden, compared to a 2 point lead in a survey that the Journal carried out in February.

In both polls, which were conducted nationwide, respondents noted that Biden’s age, 81, was weighing on his appeal. Some 80% of respondents in the Journal poll, which surveyed 1,500 registered voters from June 29 through July 2, said Biden was too old to seek a second term. That poll had a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.

Trump needs to just mind his P&Qs and he will be over 50% by next week.

The best thing Trump did at the debate was to just answer questions without bombast.

Unfortunately there are way too many people supporting a cadaver.

Trump should be supported primarily because of policies, secondarily because FJB is corrupt and brain dead.

The Democrats are only concerned about the election, not the country.

Talk about a threat to democracy . . .

just a reminder to everyone, Trump was already winning prior to everyone noticing Bidens dementia. The only thing that has changed is that instead of Trump winning a close election, now Trump is set up to win a mandate election.

Biden is running TWELVE points behind where he was at this point in 2020 (he was UP 8.8 then and is down 2.9 now).

Trump is also running ahead of his 2016 numbers against Hillary also. And is currently running 7.5 points above his numbers against Clinton on this date (Hillary was up 4.5 then)

NEW via NYT:

Democrat megadonor/Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings calls on Biden to “step aside” and allow someone else to be the Dem. nominee.

The only reason Trump is so far ahead in the Lamestream media polls is they want Biden out.

Lamestream media polls are not to be trusted.

I personally believe Trump has always been double digits ahead, and as soon as Biden is ousted, Cackles will be ahead in the polls.

Look for polls showing Cackles can beat Trump in the next days in order to get Biden out.

When the biased liberal rags and their poll numbers favor Pres. Trump, Biden is in deep dung. The numbers are probably even higher in Trump’s favor. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

There is another issue here.

If someone runs and loses against Trump, they will never be nominated again.

Pretty much all the names suggested have not been asked their opinions

I’d love to see word salad in a debate with Trump. Standing of course, not on her knees.

I like this kind of analysis because it is like for like. Polls compared with polls. Rather than polls compared with election results.

(Look for polls showing Cackles can beat Trump in the next days in order to get Biden out.)

It’s already started today. CNN already has her within 2 points of Trump.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4752020-vice-president-harris-trump-biden-poll/mlite/

Vice President Harris is running closer to former President Trump than President Biden is, according to a new poll.

The CNN poll released Tuesday found that 45 percent of registered voters would support Harris in a hypothetical match-up with Trump. She is 2 percentage points behind the former president, who received 47 percent support in a head-to-head contest with Harris.

There already is a poll showing Trump with a slimmer lead over Harris than over Biden. We can expect more.

That’s nothing illegal ballots from millions of Biden’s illegal immigrants can’t fix the week after the election.

Polls such as these will increase the 'Rats desperation. We must redouble our efforts to elect President Trump. Time to knock on more doors.
