Biden is running TWELVE points behind where he was at this point in 2020 (he was UP 8.8 then and is down 2.9 now).
Trump is also running ahead of his 2016 numbers against Hillary also. And is currently running 7.5 points above his numbers against Clinton on this date (Hillary was up 4.5 then)
I like this kind of analysis because it is like for like. Polls compared with polls. Rather than polls compared with election results.
