The Sad Inevitability of Biden’s Reckoning

The fallout from last week’s presidential debate has thrust the Democratic Party into a spiraling crisis. Yet many in the party view the current reckoning as sadly inevitable—the product of years of defensive refusal by the president and his protective inner circle to acknowledge the decline in Biden’s public presentation that has long been obvious to voters.

Now, insiders admit, the party is reaping the consequences of its long failure to confront an issue that was only ever fated to get worse.

“This was all predictable, and it pisses me off that everyone is acting shocked now,” one longtime Democratic operative said on Sunday. “The shocking thing is that people engaged in this deception, or delusion, or both, for so long.” President Biden’s shambolic performance in Thursday’s opening face-off with former President Donald Trump confirmed the worst fears about his competence and thrust previously whispered concerns into the open, forcing a wrenching and open-ended conversation about his ability to continue as the party’s standard-bearer. Over the weekend, officials, operatives, donors and party rank and file frantically groped for a way forward amid plummeting confidence about their chances to win the November election. Party insiders agonized over the chaos that a late attempt to reshuffle the ticket might unleash and fretted about the impossibility of forcing the president’s hand to drop out......

That Biden was slowing with age has been evident for years to those familiar with the quick-witted patter and glad handing vigor he once exhibited. Some longtime aides say it first became noticeable after his son Beau died of cancer in 2015.

It is only sad if you have some unreasonable empathy for Biden and his family. I say unreasonable because, in my mind, Biden’s mental infirmities were, though less pronounced, evident during his 2020 basement campaign; but the Dim primaries chose him anyway. To me what is not sad but is outrageous is a sufficient group of Dim party leaders and big wigs, and even some of the “press”, KNEW they were putting up a card board cut out, just so a cabal behind it could run things “in his name”. It was outrageous because it was political fraud at the highest and they know it.

This weekend we should go put up Biden/Harris 2024 stickers all over streetlamps in the neighborhood.

We should also organize boat/car parades for Biden/Harris 2024.

Let the Democrats know how popular he is with voters.

And it helps to think in terms of Monty Python’s Dead Parrot Sketch.

True, Bidet usually rises to the occasion when he’s angry and full of hate. But everyone knew there was a bigly chance he’d unravel even if you ran 10,000 volts thru him.

He’s been a sock puppet for a long time. We pointed it out. But, for YEARS they’ve misdirected, lied, and harassed anyone pointing out Bidet’s mental defects.

At the debate, the whole planet saw what we called out.

Rather than the DNC, media, leftists, NeverTrumpers, and other similar losers face the heat and daggers accompanying the “how in the Wide World of Sports did you NOT see this possible outcome?” commentary, they are hoping the splatter from demanding a replacement and throwing Bidet under the bus blinds people to their complicity in selling us a parrot that’s stone dead.

These people would sell their dead Mom for power. And they’ve been caught. This is glorious.

Biden seriously misjudged the effects of his debate con. The televised images viewed by 50 million that showed a diminished Biden, open mouthed, blankly staring, freezing-up, talking nonsense, will live long past his presidency.

Biden’s corruption of soul, body, morals, and mind have been with him since his earliest days. He has never been virtuous. His persistence in political position has been facilitated by the morally corrupt Democrat party.
There is a season to corruption. It is not self correcting. Rather, it feeds off its apparent success, increasing in the magnitude of its malfeasance until it finally becomes utterly jaded.
Biden’s failure is linked to the broken Democrat party which has sustained him. Only a party bereft of any semblance of dignity or honor could have allowed Joe Biden to hold office.
