Wow - now that’s movie ending I could watch over and over. I’ve never seen the movie - maybe I’ll give it a view.

Nice evening here.....temperatures down to about 70, nice breeze, bugs making lots of noise and I can hear the kids in the pool having fun, and the big tractors just pulled in with the last two flatbeds of straw bales they’ve been bringing in all day.
As for me.....just finished the rally, going to check on X and see if there’s more about Hillary trying one more time to rule the world.

I envy you. For the past 9 days straight, we have been over 100. Tomorrow will be up to 109 again.
All toll so far this year we have had 20 days over 100 with it reaching 113 in June.
Dolly where are you? It’s been 3 days.

BRUNCH CASSEROLE
12 eggs
12 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
1 C. small curd cottage cheese
3 C. shredded cheese (I like Cheddar or Swiss – sometimes mix)
2 green onions, sliced, including tops
1 tsp. salt (I skip salt)
¼ tsp. pepper
1 C. (I use more) - cooked & crumbled sausage (I use Italian), ham, or bacon
The night before:
Empty potatoes into large bowl and cover with hot tap water.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Drain in colander.
Beat eggs slightly.
Stir in potatoes, cheese(s), onion, and seasonings.
Turn into buttered glass 9x13 baking dish.
Scatter cooked meat on top.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Next day:
Remove plastic wrap.
Place the cold, uncovered dish into a COLD oven.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve.
The cold oven is so the glass heats gradually and won’t break by putting it into abrupt heat.

I’ve been taking Cooper in the forest first thing - his arthritis isn’t bothering him so much now. Second thing the kitties go for a walk around the upper hill with us. They seem to enjoy it.
